Dog Boarding in Ector County

Play-First Overnight Boarding for Ector County Pet Parents

When you need to travel, your dog deserves more than a kennel run and a waiting game. At Camp Bow Wow Petroplex, our overnight dog boarding services give Ector County dogs a full Camp experience: all-day play, attentive certified staff, and a cozy Cabin to wind down each night. We serve pet parents throughout Ector County, including Odessa and West Odessa, and we treat every Camper like they belong here.

Dogs don’t just stay at Camp. They run, romp, make friends, and come home genuinely worn out in the best way. That’s the difference between boarding designed around dogs and boarding designed simply to hold them.

Safety Standards That Give You Peace of Mind

Every dog at Camp is in the hands of our Certified Camp Counselors®, trained in dog behavior, pet first aid, and CPR. Before any dog joins the fun, they complete a Camper Interview. Our pre-enrollment screening confirms the play-based environment is a good fit. All Campers must be spayed or neutered and current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus (DHPP), and Bordetella vaccines.

Our facilities run on 24/7 monitored temperature control, fire, and security systems. And with Live Camper CamsSM, you can check in on your dog from your phone or computer anytime during their stay. No wondering. No worrying.

Everything Included, No Hidden Fees

Our all-inclusive pricing covers what other facilities charge extra for. Day Camp is bundled into every overnight boarding stay, so your dog plays all day before settling in for the night. Medication administration is included at no additional charge. Every Camper sleeps in their own individual Cabin on a comfy cot with a fleece blanket and receives a Campfire Treat™ each night.

During play, dogs are grouped by size, activity level, and temperament, so every dog, from a bold young lab to a mellow senior, gets the right kind of fun in a safe setting.

Ector County FAQs

Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Petroplex is here to help!

  • Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.

The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.

Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.

In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
