Our Unique CampLife Experience Near Lebanon
At Camp Bow Wow Mt Juliet, providing top-notch care for your dog isn't merely a service we offer; it’s our genuine devotion. We understand how important your pup is to you, which is why every action we take is geared toward keeping them safe, content, and feeling completely comfortable, just like a member of our own family.
Many pet parents in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, and surrounding communities like Gallatin and Hermitage juggle busy workdays and family schedules, so they need a dog day care option that feels reliable and convenient as well as fun for their pup. By offering flexible day care packages and clear communication about your dog’s day, we help you plan around commutes on I-40 or errands in town while knowing your four-legged family member is enjoying safe play instead of sitting home alone.
We Meet Your Dog Before The CampLife Fun Begins
Before your pup joins the fun, we schedule a Camper Interview to observe their temperament, preferred style of play, and overall comfort level within a group setting. We gently introduce them to their new surroundings by placing them into the perfect play group at a speed that ensures they feel completely at ease.
This essential step helps us confirm they are ready for our open-play environment, guaranteeing a positive CampLife experience right from the start. Following the interview, you will receive a concise summary of your pup’s adjustment, along with any significant observations from our Camp Counselors.
During this visit, we also take time to answer your questions about daily routines, feeding, and medication needs so you know exactly what to expect from our dog day care services. If your household has a unique schedule, such as shift work at nearby businesses or early-morning commutes into Nashville, we can walk through the best drop-off and pick-up windows to keep your dog’s day consistent and low-stress.
Customized Attention and Constant Supervision
Throughout the entire day, our Certified Camp Counselors® closely oversee every moment to guarantee your pup is secure and receiving excellent care. We thoughtfully sort dogs into groups based on their size, disposition, and energy level, allowing them to interact and play in a way that is satisfying and natural for them.
During playtime, we offer gentle direction, redirecting any behaviors such as persistent barking or overly rough play to maintain positive, safe, and fun exchanges. We also incorporate mandated rest periods to allow your pup time to relax and prevent overstimulation, keeping energy levels well-regulated across the day.
As your dog matures and builds confidence, we are always attentive to adjusting their group assignments to reflect any shifts in how they prefer to interact. Whether they need to run out their energy, enjoy some quiet reflection, or require special attention, our Caregivers are present to ensure every dog feels included, fully supported, and cherished.
Because we see many of our Campers several times a week, we quickly get to know each dog’s personality, favorite games, and subtle signals that they may be tired or need a break. This ongoing, hands-on approach means you are not just dropping your pup at a generic dog day care; you are partnering with a consistent team that notices changes in behavior or appetite and can share those insights with you so you can make informed decisions about your dog’s health and routine.
Outstanding, Secure, and Spotless Facilities
We maintain a clean, safe atmosphere where your dog can play freely. Every part of our dog daycare center, including our comfortable cabins, outdoor play areas, water stations, and toys, is cleaned and sterilized daily using non-toxic, pet-safe products as part of our rigorous sanitization protocols.
Your dog will love discovering our expansive play yards, designed with their happiness and security in mind. Whether they are having fun in our indoor spaces or enjoying the open air outside, every section is climate-controlled to guarantee they feel comfortable and pleased.
For pet parents driving in from Lebanon or nearby neighborhoods, our location is easy to reach and designed with convenient drop-off routines so mornings stay simple. Clear signage, secure entry points, and separate areas for arrival and pick-up help reduce stress for both you and your pup, giving you a smooth start and finish to every Camp day while your dog enjoys a safe, well-maintained environment.
What To Expect From Your Dog’s First Day
We know that bringing your pup to Camp for the first time can feel like a big step, especially if you are comparing different options for dog day care near Lebanon that pet parents can rely on. To make things easier, we walk you through each part of the process so you and your dog feel confident and prepared. From arrival to pick-up, our goal is to keep the day predictable, upbeat, and as stress-free as possible for everyone.
On your first visit, you will check in at our front desk and review your dog’s vaccination records, feeding instructions, and any special notes about their preferences or quirks. After a quick goodbye in our designated lobby area, our team escorts your pup to begin their Camper Interview and gradual introduction to the play yards. Throughout the day, we monitor how they settle in, offer plenty of reassurance, and ensure they get water breaks and rest time as needed so their first CampLife experience is a positive one.
When you return for pick-up, we will share a brief overview of how your dog did, including who they played with, which activities they enjoyed most, and how they handled rest periods. You can use this feedback to decide how often you would like your pup to attend Camp, whether that is an occasional visit when you have appointments in Lebanon or a regular weekly routine that fits your family’s schedule. Many pet parents tell us that after just one visit, their dogs are eager to hop in the car and head back to see their new friends.

Dog Day Care FAQs
Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Mt Juliet is here to help!
-
Yes, Camp Bow Wow requires all dogs attending daycare to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s also recommended that dogs receive the Leptospirosis vaccine annually, as it can be deadly and spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects dogs from four serious and contagious illnesses: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs continue booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion usually given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all dogs attending daycare at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog daycare, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.

Camp Bow Wow requires all dogs must be spayed or neutered at 7 months of age in order to receive daycare and boarding services.
- Camp Bow Wow understands that the choice to spay or neuter and at what age is a decision to be made for each individual dog and by the dog’s owner and veterinarian.
- For safety in a play group, dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age to take part in boarding or daycare services at Camp Bow Wow.
- As dogs reach sexual maturity, they are able to reproduce and hormonal changes occur that can alter behavior or may cause tension amongst other dogs within the group dynamic. This can impact the safety of all Campers and is not advised for open play environments.
-
Dogs staying overnight can be dropped off anytime that day during Camp hours. We suggest arriving before 4 p.m., so they can play, eat, and play again before bedtime. While you can check your pup in and out anytime during Camp hours at no additional cost, we do request you pick them up 15 minutes before closing, so we can tuck in our Overnight Campers.
-
This measure is to ensure the safety of all our Campers. Dogs can become possessive of toys, which can cause an altercation. If small pieces are torn off or broken off, a dog could choke or swallow and cause an obstruction.

You can view the free live webcams on the Camp Bow Wow website via your computer, tablet, or mobile device. We also invite you to download our iPhone or Android app to easily access the cameras from anywhere. The cameras are on during business hours when the pups are at play. Many locations offer luxury suites with 24/7 access to the suite’s webcam.
