A couple of the most frequently asked questions I receive while giving a tour of our camp is, “Why did you decide to do this? “, and “Why Camp Bow Wow?” It’s pretty simple really. Greg and I love animals! We decided to make it our living since it was already our passion.

We decided Camp Bow Wow was a great alternative for people who travel and need overnight boarding for their dogs. We used to travel a lot and our children would come into our home and watch our many animals. A funny thing happened. They grew up and now have families of their own. Greg and I decided we wanted to help other dog (and animal) guardians by offering an alternative to traditional boarding. We give furry family members a home away from home. We also have day camp, where a dog can be a dog!

My name is Hannah and I have been employed with Camp Bow Wow Meridian since July 2013. I could not have asked for a better first job. I am currently a junior at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. I am studying Anthrozoology, or the human-animal bond. I work at Camp when I am home for the summers and over the Christmas holiday. This year, I am fostering a dog for the Anthrozoology program. I am training basic behavior, service tasks, and scent work. I also own a Whippet-Mix, named Mia, who I bring with me to camp. I have had a passion for dogs since the day I met my first dog. I love working at Camp Bow Wow and getting to interact with all of the wonderful dogs!?

Hi! I am Jeremiah and I have been working here at Camp Bow Wow since December 2016. Working here has been one of the best experiences for me because it allows me to combine both my passion for animals and people all into one job. I have always been a huge animal lover and I love being able to hang out with so many dogs every day and to know that they are having a fun and safe time at Camp.?

Born and raised in Boise, I played tennis, basketball, and volleyball for Borah High School as well as participated in numerous music programs. I attended Utah State for four years and quickly moved back to Idaho. I spend time with my family, boyfriend, niece and nephews. When it's warm, I spend almost every free minute camping and hiking with my best friend, Ringo!?

Hi! My name is Laura and I have been been a Veterinary Technician for the past 10 years and going. I grew up in a small Idaho town competing with horses, showing all sorts of different animals and trying to bring home any rescue I could. When I'm not working I enjoy going on hikes with my family and our two dogs, riding with my mom and cooking. I love working with and being around animals every day which is why working for Camp Bow Wow is the best!
