Our Leander Team

Kim is the owner and driving force behind Camp Bow Wow Austin SW and Camp Bow Wow Leander. Her journey began with a fervent love for dogs (and all animals) and turned into a mission to create a happy, safe place for pups, where wagging tails abound. Kim's dedication extends beyond the furry guests and their parents; she is passionate about investing in growth and development for her team, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Her goal is for Camp Bow Wow to be a second home where both dogs and staff thrive, embodying her passion for nurturing growth and happiness in every tail wag.

Addison began her Camp Bow Wow journey at our Austin SW location in April 2021. Starting in the back of house, she worked her way up through Team Lead, Assistant Manager, and Camp Manager before being promoted to Director. In her current role, she oversees both our Leander and Austin SW Camps, bringing strong leadership and a deep passion for dogs to both teams.

An Austin native, Addison loves the city she grew up in and now proudly supports both Camp communities. She has one big, goofy pup of her own named Oni, who loves everything about life. Outside of Camp, she enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new foods, and soaking up Austin’s live music scene. Addison is grateful for the connections she’s made — both human and canine — and looks forward to many more adventures with the Camp Bow Wow family.

Hannah has been a life long dog owner and cannot remember a time before dogs were a part of her life. She has been in the pet care industry since 2016 and started her journey at Camp Bow Wow in 2021. Her knowledge and love of dogs is something she enjoys sharing with others. Ensuring pet parents that their dogs are in capable, loving hands & seeing how our campers grow and learn from the counselors and each other is very gratifying. Hannah is who you see at events and out and about in the community! She also makes our monthly enrichment calendar with all the fun activities to keep our campers fulfilled and stimulated. She loves talking about canine enrichment and the important role in plays in dogs lives.

Hannah was born and raised in California and moved to Texas in 2021. She has a degree in photography and loves to put it to good use at camp and in her spare time. Her and her husband love to explore Austin with their daughter and their schnorgi (schnauzer/corgi), Bean. She is a big foodie and loves to checkout the food scene in Austin.

Abby has been in the pet care industry since 2022. Starting off as a Kennel Technician and moving her way up to a Shift Lead. She joined the Camp Bow Wow Leander team as an Assistant Manager in 2024. She has always had a love for animals, especially dogs! She's very passionate about learning animals body language and signals to ensure they are comfortable and thriving.

Abby was born in Ohio and moved to Texas in 2009. She graduated from Round Rock High School in 2023 and went full-time working with dogs. In her spare time she enjoys kick boxing, going on hikes, and playing the guitar. 

Jess has been passionate about animals—especially dogs—for as long as she can remember. She joined the team in December 2024 and quickly became an essential part of the pack, stepping into a lead role just a few months later. You’ll also see her up front, greeting pet parents and campers with a friendly smile as part of our FOH team.

Jess moved here from New Mexico in 2023 with her boyfriend and their four dogs: two staffy mixes and two mini dachshunds—Annabel Lee, Fig, Indi, and Ivy. She has many years of experience volunteering and working with dogs, and she loves helping pet parents feel confident knowing their pups are in caring, capable hands.

Born with a love for learning, Jess earned her bachelor’s degree in Literature and enjoys reading, hiking and adventuring with her dogs, and baking in her spare time. She is always excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for dogs with others and loves being part of a place where every pup is given the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Ashton joined Camp Bow Wow when we opened in August 2024 and quickly became a core part of the team. She stepped into a lead role in January 2025 and also joined our FOH crew around that time. She occasionally helps with marketing events as well, supporting the team when needed and enjoying the chance to connect with the community.

Ashton grew up on a ranch in Liberty Hill, Texas, surrounded by animals of all kinds—horses, goats, cows, dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. Her upbringing gave her lifelong experience with many different species, and dogs have always held a special place in her heart.

She graduated from Liberty Hill High School, where she played softball and studied Criminal Justice. She is currently attending ACC, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice.

In her free time, Ashton enjoys thrifting, trying new foods, and spending time with her loved ones. She also adores her Great Pyrenees, Winnie, who loves the outdoors and loves her family even more.
