We're pleased to shine our staff spotlight on Allyson Hargrove, our longest-serving employee. Allyson has been with Camp Bow Wow Lawrenceville from the very start of the camp’s formation in 2015. She began as a camp counselor and steadily rose to senior counselor, shift leader, and now to morning manager. In 2025, she earned her Bachelor of Science & Business degree from the University of Phoenix. Allyson is a self-professed “big dog” lover and is the proud mom to two German Shepherds. Her favorite camper is Storm (pictured here), a day camp regular who Allyson refers to as her “work son.” In her spare time, Allyson is a self-taught perfumer who has created several unique and enticing perfumes and scented candles. She also enjoys a passion for photography.

At Camp Bow Wow Lawrenceville, our people make all the difference. We’d like to introduce to you to some of our longest-serving staff members, whose dedication to dogs goes back decades. First up is Edgard Medina, our full-service groomer. Edgard originally hails from Miami Beach. He landed his very first job there at a pet shop, and pets quickly became his career-long passion. Over the years, Edgard has served as a pet store assistant manager, a pet adoption counselor, a kennel tech, and a vet tech, just to name a few roles. He caught the eye of a manager at a grooming business, and he worked there while taking classes to become a professional groomer. In 2012, he moved to Atlanta to help an ailing family member. What was supposed to be a temporary stay ended up being life changing. He met his beautiful wife Bethany (who also happens to groom dogs though, sadly, not for us), and they have three adorable kids, a rescued Bull Terrier, and an Exotic Bully. For the past seven-plus years, Edgard has been working at Camp Bow Wow. “I love to see the big smiles when a pet parent comes to pick up their newly groomed dog,” said Edgard. Happy parents and happy campers … that’s what we’re all about.
