Every new dog begins with a required one-on-one enrollment assessment before joining our shared play yards. At Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights, we use this introduction to understand your dog’s temperament, play style, and comfort around other dogs. It also gives your pup time to become familiar with the environment before participating in dog day care.
Afterward, we provide a brief report on how your dog adjusted. New dogs that complete this step also receive a free day of dog day care. Houston Heights pet parents can see how their pups respond to supervised play before choosing an ongoing schedule or package.
We serve families across Houston with attentive care, exercise, and socialization for their dogs. We observe how each pup interacts and adjust activities based on energy, confidence, and preferences.

Dog Day Care Pricing & Packages
Our pricing is all-inclusive, with no hidden fees. A full day costs $35, while a half day of up to five hours costs $28.
Full-day packages are available in the following amounts:
- 5-Day Package: $162
- 10-Day Package: $315
- 20-Day Package: $595
- 30-Day Package: $840
- Monthly Membership: $620 for unlimited dog day care during the applicable 31-day period
Warm Up Package
The Warm Up Package costs $95 for one dog and includes three dog day care days plus two enrichment sessions.
Included Care
Medication administration is available at no additional charge. Day care is also included during boarding stays, allowing dogs to participate in daytime activities as part of their stay.
Health & Eligibility Requirements
Dogs must complete the required screening before entering our day care play yards. They must also be current on all required vaccinations. You can contact us for current vaccination requirements before arranging the assessment.
Dogs participating in group play must be spayed or neutered by seven months of age. Review your pup’s vaccination records and age before getting started.
Supervised Care for Houston Heights Dogs
Before entering a play yard, staff members are trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and first aid. A balanced staff-to-dog ratio supports close observation for signs of illness, stress, or discomfort throughout the day.
Activity, Socialization & Rest
Each dog receives a personalized balance of exercise, socialization, and rest. We account for changes in energy or comfort as the day progresses.
Daily Cleaning Practices
Water bowls, play areas, and facility surfaces are cleaned and sanitized daily with pet-safe products. Toys aren’t allowed in shared areas, reducing resource guarding and choking hazards while keeping the focus on supervised interaction among compatible dogs.

At Camp Bow Wow, boarding includes all-day open-play daycare, a cozy Camp sleeping area, feeding, medications, webcam access, and attentive care from Certified Camp Counselors®. Sf Optional add-ons like enrichment, training, or bath and grooming , may be available at your Camp Bow Wow location.

Yes, holiday surcharges are common in dog boarding because these are peak times when space and staff are in higher demand. Many Camp Bow Wow locations may apply a small holiday fee or require minimum-night stays during major holidays to ensure we can provide safe, consistent care for every Camper. Your local Camp will share holiday rates and policies in advance so you can plan your pup’s stay with confidence.

Many Camp Bow Wow locations provide daily updates so you know how your pup is doing during dog daycare and boarding. Our Certified Camp Counselors® closely monitor each Camper’s behavior, play style, and overall well-being, and can share how your pup ate, played, rested, and made new friends. Some Camps also offer digital “report cards,” photos, or notes, so you get added peace of mind while your four-legged family member enjoys their stay - check with your local Camp for specific update options.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
Check in with Live Video Access
Live video access is available during Camp hours, allowing you to watch your dog from a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
You can access the live pet cameras through the Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights website or app. Check in during a break or share your pup’s playtime with family while Camp is in session.
Prepare Your Dog for Day Care
Enrollment details are available when you contact us by phone or through our contact form. We’ll introduce your dog to the day care environment, evaluate comfort around other dogs, and provide a brief adjustment report. New dogs that complete the assessment receive their first day of dog day care free.
