February 2023 Camper of the Month
Hudson
Congratulations to Hudson for being named our Camper of the Month for February! Hudson is an almost 3-year-old Labrador Retriever, who has been coming to Camp at least twice a week for the past year. Hudson is one of the most chill dogs at Camp, and can often be found lying on the play bridge with one of his many fur-iends. When not at Camp, Hudson loves going to the dog beach. He's a lover of any kind of food...he's a big boy! Hudson is a big snuggler and doesn't know his own size...he thinks he's a lap dog:) Congratulations again to Hudson!
January 2023 Camper of the Month
Trey
Congratulations to Trey for being named our Camper of the Month for January! Trey is a 10-year-old Havanese, who has been coming to Camp for 7 years. Here’s a little about Trey from his fur-Dad: “Trey loves seeing his friends at Camp, both doggies and human. At home, he is an avid snuggler who always finds the perfect blanket. He enjoys walks around the neighborhood, watching the wildlife outside his window, collecting socks from the laundry and playing chase with his kitty brother.” Congratulations again to Trey!
December 2022 Camper of the Month
Clyde
Congratulations to Clyde for being named our Camper of the Month for December! Clyde is a 1-year--old German Shepherd mix who has been coming to Camp since early this year. We have loved watching Clyde “grow up” here at Camp…moving from the small dog yard when he was a puppy, to playing and romping with the big dogs. Clyde’s favorite thing to do…besides coming to Camp…is playing fetch! He also loves to cuddle. Congratulations again to Clyde!
November 2022 Camper of the Month
Scooter
Congratulations to Scooter for being named our Camper of the Month for November! Scooter is a 4-year-old Boston Terrier who has been coming to Camp since 2019. Scooter is at Camp several times a week and loves playing with all his fur-iends in Winston's Wing. When not at Camp, Scooter enjoys going to the dog park and snuggling with his grandma and grandpa...though he loves his fur-mom the best! He enjoys his homemade breakfasts and dinners and his treats too! Congratulations again to Scooter!
October 2022 Camper of the Month
Cleo
Congratulations to Cleo for being named our Camper of the Month for October! Cleo is a 4-year-old Sato Mixed Breed who has been coming to Camp since she was about 9-months old. According her paw-rents she is the pack leader of the family and is always herding everyone together. Her favorite snack is popcorn and her favorite game is tug. When she's not at Camp, Cleo loves chasing balls and frisbees, going for walks in the park and belly rubs. Cleo is very punctual when it's time to get her treats and she has a lot to say if they are late! Congratulations again to Cleo!
September 2022 Camper of the Month
Carl
Congratulation to Carl for being named our September Camper of the Month. Carl is a 2-year-old French Bulldog who has been coming to Camp since he was 5 months old! Carl loves coming to Camp and his favorite activity is to be chased so he can run as fast as he can! Carl loves cream cheese (even more than peanut butter!), napping in the sun and the sprinkler. Carl is a big snuggler and loves laying on top of this favorite hoo-mans and snoring in their face. Carl absolutely LOVES belly rubs and that’s the first thing he asks for every morning – he wakes up, stretches and then rolls over and presents his belly for all the pets. Congratulations again to Carl!
August 2022 Camper of the Month
Cassian
Congratulations to Cassian for being named our Camper of the Month for August! Cassian has been coming to Camp since he was only 16-weeks-old. He’s a lab mix who recently became a big brother to another rescue lab mix, Claire. Cassian is at Camp almost every day…it’s his second home! According to his fur-mom, Cassian’s favorite treat is duck jerky and he enjoys his daily walks around the lake near their home in Brick. Cassian also loves to hop up on his back legs and dance with his mom! Congratulations Cassian!
July 2022 Camper of the Month
Poppy
Congratulations to Poppy for being named our Camper of the Month for July! Poppy is 8-years-old and has been coming to Camp since 2015. Poppy's fur-mom says they found each other when they needed each other the most. Poppy is very popular in her neighborhood and knows who has the best treats! She loves Camp and is a Friday regular in ":Winston's Wing." She walks 3 to 4 miles per day and loves to snuggle at night with her fur-mom. Poppy gives the best kisses...just ask any Camp Counselor:) She also has a cat-sister at home. Congratulations Poppy!
June 2022 Camper of the Month
Bruce & Sage
Congratulations to Bruce and Sage for being named our June Campers of the Month! Sage is a tri-pod pup who just turned 3 years-old and Bruce is 1. Both are Labrador Retrievers. Sage started coming to Camp when she was 7 months old and Bruce when he was 5 months old. They LOVE Camp and can be seen playing with all the other big dogs. When not at Camp they enjoy going to the baseball field across from their house and looking for lost baseballs. They enjoy destroying all their toys and are very food motivated…they are labs after all! Bruce loves hanging out the car windows (always buckled in of course) and trying to bite cars as they pass by. Congratulations again to Bruce and Sage!
May 2022 Camper of the Month
Elle
Congratulations to Elle for being named our Camper of the Month for May! Elle is a 9-year-old Whippet who has been coming to Camp for 6 years! When at Camp, you can often find Elle sunbathing in the small dog outside play yard. She also enjoys catching a nap on the play bridge with her fur-ends. Elle loves treats, and will often not eat dinner until midnight hoping that she gets treats instead! She insists on sitting or laying on the furniture and has 8 beds at home! Being a Whippet, she loves to run fast, then sleep all day. Congratulations Elle!
April 2022 Camper of the Month
Kylo
Congratulations to Kylo for being named our Camper of the Month for April! Kylo is a 1 1/2 year-old Dalmatian who has been coming to Camp since he was 4-months old! When Kylo is happy and excited he loves to smile and show off his pearly white teeth:) His favorite activity is stealing a sock and then running out in the yard with it in his mouth - begging for someone to chase him. It's his favorite game! He also loves to play and jump on the family trampoline...he's such a silly pup! Congratulations again to Kylo!
March 2022 Camper of the Month
Oliver
Congratulations to Oliver for being named our March Camper of the Month! Oliver is a 6-year-old Pointer mix who has been coming to Camp since he was 5-months-old! Oliver loves to cover up under blankets, carry and chew on sticks and hang out with his best human cousin Tanner. His favorite snacks are Greenies and he absolutely hates the water! When he's not at Camp hanging with his fur-ends, he loves walking at Joe Palaia Park and watching the deer. Congratulations Oliver!
February 2022 Camper of the Month
Nala
Congratulations to Nala for being named our Camper of the Month for February! Nala is a smooth coated collie who is almost 2 years old. She has come a long way since she first came to Camp when she was only 7 months old. Nala was a little nervous at first and started off with the smaller dogs to build her confidence. After coming to day care and then boarding with us, she became so comfortable she was moved up to the big dogs and is doing great! When not at Camp, Nala loves to do agility and take naps (must sleep on two beds at once and be tucked in!). She wants to be pet by everyone she meets or who even looks her way. Nala also has a nightly howling ritual. Congratulations again to Nala!
January 2022 Camper of the Month
Annie
Congratulations to Annie for being named our January Camper of the Month! Annie is a sweet mixed breed pup who has been coming to Camp for over a year. When Annie is not at Camp playing with all her fur-ends, she enjoys going to the dog park, chewing on her bones and cuddling with her fur-mom. Annie loves frozen carrots…they help her keep her girlish figure?? and she also enjoys a good belly rub…who doesn’t?! Congratulations again to Annie!
December 2021 Camper of the Month
Ginger
Congratulations to Ginger for being named our Camper of the Month for December. Ginger is a 2-year-old hound/lab mix. She was adopted from Rescue Ridge and has been coming to Camp since 2019. When Ginger is not at Camp, She enjoys going on walks in the park, chasing squirrels and swimming when she goes to the beach. She loves to hang out on the sofa at home with her blanket and her bones...and she's knows exactly which cabinet holds her treats! Congratulations Ginger!
November 2021 Camper of the Month
Rico
Congratulations to Rico for being named our November Camper of the Month! Rico is a handsome long-hair Chihuahua with the most beautiful blue eyes! Rico will be turning 9-years-old next month and has been coming to Camp since 2016. According to his fur-mom, Rico is a natural security alarm, alerting everyone to the comings and goings in the neighborhood. He is also a "snuggle buddy" who loves to curl up in blankets. Rico is a "big" presence in the small dog yard and definitely thinks he is bigger than he is! Congratulations again to Rico.
October 2021 Camper of the Month
Vegas
Congratulations to Vegas for being named our Camper of the Month for October! Vegas is an almost 3-year-old PIt Bull Terrier. She has been coming to Camp for the past year and her favorite activities according to her fur-mom are sleeping and snuggling with her family. Of course, she also loves coming to Camp and playing with her fur-iends in the big dog yard! Vegas also loves getting treats (who doesn’t?). Vegas was one of the winners of Name the Play Yards Contest earlier this year and “Vegas’s Vacation” is named after her. Congratulations again to Vegas!
September 2021 Camper of the Month
Brodie
Congratulations to Brodie for being named our Camper of the Month for September! Brodie is a 1 1/2-year-old Dachshund who has been coming to Camp for a year. Brodie is affectionately known as "The Mayor" as he must meet every new dog at Camp and he always has a lot to say! He loves going on walks, eating ice cream every night before bed and pretending he can fly...just check out his pictures. He also shares his home with 2 cats who he likes to torment. Brodie was one of the winners of our Name The Play Yards Contest earlier this year and "The Mayor's Office" is named after him. Congratulations Brodie!
August 2021 Camper of the Month
Brody
Meet our August Camper of the Month, Brody! Brody is a 2-year-old mix breed pup who's been coming to Camp since he was 5-months-old. When Brody is not at Camp, he loves digging holes at the beach and chasing seagulls. He enjoys long walks and chasing squirrels, but he can also be a couch potato! His favorite treats are carrots. Brody loves Camp and he always makes us laugh with his funny faces and expressions. He is also very photogenic as you can see from our favorite photo of him! Congratulations Brody!
July 2021 Camper of the Month
Hamilton and Franklin
Congratulations to our July Campers of the Month - Hamilton and Franklin! These fur-brothers have been regulars at Camp since 2019. Hamilton is a 4-year-old French Bulldog and brother Franklin is a 2-year-old pug. When they're at Camp, they love to have snuggle time with the favorite Camp Counselor, Jessica. When not at Camp, they enjoy sitting on their fur-moms laps on the couch and getting lots of cuddles. They also enjoy eating and going for walks. Congratulations again to Hamilton and Franklin!
June 2021 Camper of the Month
Kona Bear
Congratulations to Kona Bear for being named our Camper of the Month for June! Kona Bear is a bullmastiff mix who recently turned 5 years old. He's been coming to Camp since December of 2017. You can often find Kona Bear hanging out on the bridge at Camp and at home he likes to perch at the top of the staircase. He loves his dog chews, treats and going to the beach - but he doesn't like to go in the water:) He loves protecting his yard from the rabbits and squirrels and he enjoys hamburgers and bagels! Kona is great big brother to his human baby brother too. Congratulations once again to Kona Bear!
May 2021 Camper of the Month
Beaux
Congratulations to Beaux for being named our May Camper of the Month! Beaux is an almost 3-year-old Beagle. Beaux's favorite activity (when he's not at Camp of course!) is boating with his paw-rents. He likes to sit on the front of the boat and take in all the sights and smells from the water. Beaux also enjoys tracking every scent in the neighborhood (just like a beagle) during his many daily walks. He spends his time protecting his house from anyone who may pass by. He insists on howling at pretty much anything within a mile of his house! Congratulations Beaux!
April 2021 Camper of the Month
Luna
Congratulations to Luna for being named our Camper of the Month for April! Luna is a 2 ½ year old chocolate Lab who has been coming to Camp since 2019. Luna is a typical Lab with lots of playful energy. She loves playing fetch and going to the beach and on hikes with her mom. According to her mom, Luna has a goofy personality and she always makes us smile when she’s at Camp. Congratulations Luna!
March 2021 Camper of the Month
Lily
Congratulations to Lily for being named our Camper of the Month for March! Lily is a sweet Maltese pup who will be turning 13-years-old this month! Lily is a very active little pup and can be found almost every day hanging with her fur-ends in the small dog yard. Lily has been coming to Camp since 2012 - that's 9 years! We affectionally call her "Lil" Lily. When Lily is not at camp she enjoys going to the her fur-mom's office and playing with her friend Charlie. Congratulations Lily.
February 2021 Camper of the Month
Atlas
Congratulations to Atlas for being named our February Camper of the Month! Atlas is a Lab who just recently celebrated his 3rd birthday at Camp. He's been a regular Camper since 2018 when he was only 8 months old. Atlas loves going to the beach and playing with his ball. After a full day of playing at Camp with his fur-iends, he enjoys sleeping(LOL!). Another favorite activity is visting his grand-pawents in LBI and playing on the beach with them.
January 2021 Camper of the Month
Parker
Congratulations to Parker for being named our January Camper of the Month! Parker is an (almost) 4-year-old Brussels Griffon who can always be found romping and playing in the small dog play yard. Parker has been coming to Camp since 2018 and prior to joining us he went to Camp Bow Wow in Elmwood Park. When Parker is not at Camp he loves to go to the park and the beach with his Dad. He also loves to play fetch and eat! His favorite activity is watching Marvel movies with his Dad
December 2020 Camper of the Month
Clay
Congratulations to Clay for being named our December Camper of the Month! Clay is a Boxer (and we bet you can guess who he's named after), who recently turned 4-years-old. Clay has been coming to Camp since he was only 8 months old! We've loved watching Clay "grow up" at Camp. He is a typical Boxer who loves to play...anytime, anywhere and we do believe he has one of the longest tongues at Camp! He's a natural for "tongue out Tuesdays"! When Clay is not at Camp he loves going for car rides!
November 2020 Camper of the Month
Cali
Congratulations to Cali for being named our November Camper of the month! Cali is a small dog with a BIG bark! She is almost 5-years-old..her birthday is this month on the 26th. Cali's been coming to Camp since she was only 5 months old. She loves to play ball and likes to keep on schedule...she demands her morning walk at 10am! When it's time to go home, Cali spins so much, she sometimes knocks herself over! Congratulations again to Cali and thanks for always making us smile!
