Our Concord, NC Team

Kristi began her Camp Bow Wow journey as a college student and athlete, never expecting to stay after graduation—but she quickly fell in love with working with dogs. Within her first year, she joined the management team while also serving as a Dog Trainer and Marketing Scout. Camp even introduced her to her husband, Josh, who started at Camp in 2012.

Together, Kristi and Josh became certified dog trainers and helped launch Camp Bow Wow’s training program in 2014. Over the years, Kristi continued to grow within the company, eventually becoming Regional Manager and later Senior Director of Corporate Camp Operations, overseeing seven Camps across Colorado, New Mexico, and North Carolina.

Kristi and her family recently achieved their longtime dream of ownership and are now proud owners of Camp Bow Wow Concord. At home, they share life with their dog, Jessie, and a lively crew of cats—including two kittens, Fred and AJ, who were rescued from the Camp parking lot in fall of 2025. They lovingly remember their late German Shepherd brothers, Cam and Vinny. Kristi and Josh are parents to three wonderful children: Ellie, Amelia, and their newest addition, baby Noah.

Jessica started working at Camp as a Camp Counselor in June 2019. She worked up the ranks and got promoted to Assistant Manager in December 2022. Right now, she owns and loves her many cats at home and gets her fill of dogs here at Camp! Her favorite breed is Golden Retrievers; she loves to hang out in the Yards with them. Jessica’s favorite part of Camp is watching all our Camper’s excitement as they come through the front door, ready to play the day away!
