Dog Boarding in Scottsdale
Play-Filled Days & Separate Overnight Rest
Every overnight stay at Camp Bow Wow Scottsdale Central includes day care, with opportunities to play in our indoor and outdoor play yards. Our Counselors provide individual attention while your dog enjoys exercise and time with other Campers.
After the day’s activities, each guest has a separate individual rest accommodation outside the play area. A nightly treat helps make the transition from an active day to bedtime feel a little more like home.
Medication administration and other special requests are available at no additional charge. Tell us what your pup needs when requesting a reservation so we can discuss the details with you.

Vaccination Requirements for Overnight Boarding
Dogs must meet our health requirements before participating in care. We also use a Camper screening process before dogs join the Camp environment.
Required and recommended vaccines include:
- DHPP: Dogs must be up to date on the DHPP vaccine.
- Rabies: A current rabies vaccine is required.
- Bordetella: A current Bordetella vaccine is required.
- Leptospirosis: This vaccine is recommended but isn’t listed as required.
Maricopa County Requirements
County licensing rules are separate from our boarding requirements. Maricopa County requires dogs older than three months to have a current rabies vaccination and county dog license. Keep both county records and required boarding vaccination records current.
Standard & Luxury Overnight Accommodations
Both options give dogs a separate place to rest after their daytime activities. Their size and features differ:
- Standard option: An individual, cozy rest accommodation outside the play area.
- Luxury option: A private 8.5-by-7.5-foot room with a TV and private camera.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
