Camp Bow Wow San Diego Airport is AMAZING. My dog LOVES coming here. As we turn into the parking lot, his tail is wagging and he gets so excited. He always smells fresh after his bath. Everyone is so friendly at the front counter and even on the phone. I can't recommend Camp Bow Wow San Diego Airport enough.

Camp Bow Wow Went Above and Beyond May 15, 2026

Camp Bow Wow on Airport Road went above and beyond for our dog! She’s normally very shy and timid, so we were all nervous about boarding her for a few days. But every time we checked the online cameras, we saw her happy, tail wagging, barking, and playing with the other dogs — she was truly living her best life. We also added a couple enrichment options for her, including a treat activity and a cuddle session with a staff member to help her feel more comfortable, and it made such a difference. We loved receiving photos from the staff. When we picked her up, she was happy, healthy, smelled amazing (thanks to the added bath option), and clearly well cared for. We are so thankful for the amazing staff who took such great care of our fur baby while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in the best hands. Highly recommend!

The staff here are great, and I always know my pups are in good hands! The booking process is super simple, and I love being able to watch the dogs on the cameras. I have used Camp Bow Wow for boarding, day care, and baths and will definitely be returning!

They were very kind to my puppy. They were kind, reassuring to me. This was the first time that Oliver had been there. He had two enrichment programs. They sent me an adorable picture they took of him. He was happy to go back the next day, walked in wagging his tail. Very nice place, very nice people.

Yogi’s first daycare experience has been going great Mar 29, 2026

Yogi is 15 and had never been to daycare before, so I was nervous, but it has been going great. He has really enjoyed the outdoor experience and loves being around other dogs. Jake has been a class act and has been so helpful in gaining both my trust and Yogi’s. He is very gentle and patient and has made Yogi’s first daycare experience a positive one, helping build his trust and confidence. Jennifer and Melody (I hope I got their names right!) have been fantastic and are constantly making sure the dogs’ areas are clean and that they get pets and snuggles throughout the day. They know my dog and give me cute updates, like his affinity for barking at the seagulls during the day and how happy it makes him.

This is a great facility and the entire staff, especially the manager, were very friendly and professional. The onboarding process was very smooth, simple and thorough which made us feel at ease dropping our dog off to caring hands. Also, the webcams and photo updates are a great way to keep in touch with how things are going. Bonus 6th star that they have a variety of creative themed enrichment activities which gives our dog a little different experience each time too.

I have been taking my boy Nelson to Camp Bow Wow’s Rosecrans location for months now and they are great! Nelson was rescued from a kill shelter with little to no time out of his kennel so came with a lot of stored up energy. The team had so much patience with him; I know he didn’t start out as the easiest “camper” to handle. 😅 Today he is headed back over to see his buddies at Camp Bow Wow and he couldn’t be more excited!!! 🐾

This Place Is Worth Every Penny Feb 27, 2026

As the proud mom of a Labrador named Irie (which, as fellow Lab parents know, is basically a full-time cardio commitment), I cannot say enough good things about Camp Bow Wow Midway. The first time I realized this place was special? Irie gets just as excited on the drive there as she does when she knows we’re going to the beach. That is elite-level enthusiasm. She practically vibrates in the back seat. She plays hard, makes friends, and gets absolutely adored by the camp counselors. Every single staff member we’ve interacted with has been warm, kind, and genuinely excited to see her. You can tell they truly love the dogs, and Irie clearly feels that love right back. And here’s the real miracle: she comes home exhausted. Not “slightly calmer.” Not “mildly less chaotic.” I mean full-on, noodle-body, snoring-on-the-floor exhausted. And the tiredness lasts into the next day. As a Labrador mom, I do not use the word miracle lightly. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s somewhere safe, supervised, stimulated, and loved on while I’m busy. Camp Bow Wow has become part of our weekly routine, and Irie absolutely thrives there. If you have a high-energy pup (especially a Lab!), this place is worth every penny. Five stars from me (and if Irie could type, I’m pretty sure she’d give it ten). Attached photos are the ones the staff sends me in real time when she is at camp!

Camp Bow Wow, San Diego Airport is amazing! It took us a while to find a great doggy daycare. Once we found Camp Bow Wow SD Airport, we knew we had found the right place for our baby Luna. Luna gets so excited when we arrive, she practically jumps out of the car to run into camp. The staff are all amazing; they all greet Luna with hugs and open arms. We really like that Luna gets some play time with her pals and then some rest and relaxation in her private den area. Luna enjoys the added experiences like sniff and seek, the ball pit, and painting activities. They are always planning fun activities for the pups. They also offer grooming and bath services after a fun-filled day. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow SD Airport. They truly care about your dog.

Took my pup for a day visit and asked for a nail trim while he was there. They ran behind, and he hadn’t gotten them trimmed when I arrived to pick him up. They quickly got it done while I waited and discounted the price for my minor wait. Great customer service. Happy pup and owner.

I run a rescue, and when one of our foster moms had an emergency and was rushed to the hospital, we only had 2 hours to retrieve her foster dog Rosie and find a place to go. A kind and long-time patron of Camp Bow Wow reached out and told us he had made arrangements for us to bring sweet Rosie to Camp Bow Wow. Christine, the owner, absolutely loves rescue dogs. Rosie was treated with absolute love by the staff. They texted us updates daily. We were impressed with the playgroup area that had a safe ratio of staff-to-dogs. Christine let us know that she would help us any time we needed emergency care. She has helped us so many times we are in a bind and provides the BEST care for our fur babies, we are so grateful!

We’ve had such a great experience with this place. We added our new baby Zoro to our family and we weren’t sure how we were going to have someone take care of him during our wedding. We searched for a few places near us but Camp Bow Wow always popped up in my search. Kristene, the manager, was so nice and hospitable from the start. We had to delay his temperament test a few times due to some unforeseen circumstances and we were getting a little nervous about it getting so close to the event and him not doing well for his temperament test. Kristene gave us reassurance that she would help us figure it out. Needless to say, because of her and the great vibe I got from the first few phone calls, this is now our place to take Zoro and we drive all the way from South San Diego. On Zoro’s temperament test day, I was really nervous about how things were going to go since he definitely seemed like he wasn’t sure about being there. All the staff are very knowledgeable about dogs and understood this first impression was just first day jitters. He ended up doing so well for his first day and his second day! Thank you to Saje, Jennifer, and Tais for being so kind, friendly, and understanding towards us and our boy, especially with his weird quirks. It’s so refreshing to also see the staff love on him throughout the day on the cameras and see him playing with other pups too. We also got a tour of the place and it’s very clean and spacious. I highly recommend and thank you to the Camp Bow Wow team again for everything!

Sally is a regular here. We take her to daycare regularly, and we do the boarding service when needed. She also gets her baths and nails trimmed here once in a while as well. (Very convenient to pick her up all nice and clean!) She loves to hang out with her dog & human friends multiple days a week. When she lifts her head up to see she’s at Camp Bow Wow, she gets so excited and jumps out the door. She’s greeted by people who love her and have their own nicknames for her. You can tell they are dog people. She gets so much love, and I love watching her on the dog camera while I’m out and about. Sally is a rescue and it takes her a little to warm up, but she truly trusts and loves everyone at Camp Bow Wow. Thank you for taking care of my baby all the time! :)

Camp Bow Wow Airport SD is amazing! We bring our 2-year-old Mini Schnauzer Luna there for daycare and she loves it. She gets excited every time we pull up to the front doors, and she's always ready for fun. They offer many types of activities for the dogs such as sniff and search in the ball pit, playing fetch, and paw painting. The prices are very reasonable and they offer discounts on bulk packages. The staff are super nice and take good care of the pets. They really show that they care about the dogs, giving them constant love and kisses. The owner is super responsive to questions and feedback to make your pet's stay more enjoyable. We love all the pictures they send us of Luna and updates during the day. We're also able to see her daily activities via the cameras. It took us a while to find the right daycare for Luna that was within our price range, but we found Camp Bow Wow. Would recommend.
