  • Ruby

    April Camper of the Month

    Ruby

Ruby is our camper of the month for April 2021. Ruby is a one-year-old Beagle mix that absolutely loves her camp days! Ruby joined us over two months ago and has already become one of our most popular pups in the small play yard. She makes sure to befriend even the new pups in town, pulling them out of their shell to come and play. On Ruby’s interview day, she started off very timid and nervous, so it’s amazing to see how far she has come in such a short time span. Out of all of Ruby’s new friends, her favorite would have to be Lady the mini–Bull Terrier. They have so much fun wrestling all over the play yard all day long! Ruby has such a sweet personality, and truly has made herself right at home here at camp. The minute we open the door to take her to the yard, she races to the gate, so excited to go in the yard! We love Ruby and her fun-loving self so much and are so thankful to have her be a part of our Camp Bow Wow pack!

  • Fiona

    April Member of the Month

    Fiona

Fiona is our member of the month for April 2021. Fiona is a 1-year-old Cane Corso who is truly a gentle giant. Fiona joined us about 3 months ago and has been a 3-day a week member ever since! Her size may be intimidating to some, but once you get to know Fiona it is impossible not to fall in love. Fiona has a very well-rounded personality, always making friends with both the counselors and other dogs in the play area. Although Fiona is a clinger to the counselor, she never fails to find her match in the play area as they chase each other around the play bridges! Fiona has made an abundance of friends, but she really loves Quill, a blue tick coonhound who made it his mission to bring her out of her shell when she first started here! When it was still cold outside, Fiona would roll around in the snow, making what we like to call – dog angels, which always gave us a good laugh. Fiona never fails to put a smile on our staff’s faces and we could not be happier to have her be a part of our Camp Bow Wow family!

  • Dice

    March Camper of the Month

    Dice

Dice is an 8-month-old Dalmatian who never fails to put a smile on the faces of our entire staff with his adorable dot covered face! Dice joined us just 5 months ago, and has grown into such a handsome, easy going pup that is always willing to make new friends. He started with us as a young puppy in our small yard and now has just recently graduated into our large dog yard. Dice has made so many furry friends since he’s got the best of both worlds in both the small and now the large yard. Not by coincidence, Dice’s best friend has got to be our other Dalmatian puppy, Annie! Our staff gets a great laugh out of seeing a bundle of dots wrestling on the floor and romping under and over the bridge all day long! As much fun as Dice has playing with all of his friends, he still makes sure to come and give the camp counselors some sloppy kisses while he is in the play area! Dice is such a happy-go-lucky boy and has become such an important part of our Camp Bow Wow pack!

  • Lady

    March Member of the Month

    Lady

Lady is a 6-month-old miniature Bull Terrier who just melts the hearts of our entire staff. Lady joined us last month and has been a 3-day a week member ever since! She is one of our most active and confident dogs, playing from the minute she steps paw in the door! Lady is extremely social, and even enjoys going in the big dog yard every once in a while. The minute she goes in the yard, she does zooms around the bridge while the entire pack chases her, joining in on the fun. She never fails to brighten the day when she comes to camp, whether it is for our staff that just cannot get enough of her or for the pups as she makes the yard so enjoyable for them! It is every once in a blue moon when Lady relaxes for a snooze, but when she does, she stretches out on the play bridge, giving our staff a good laugh. We could go on and on about the things we love about Lady but most importantly, we are so thankful to have her as a part of our Camp Bow Wow family!

  • Greta

    February Camper of the Month

    Greta

Greta is our camper of the month. She is a two-year-old Golden Retriever who is the biggest sweetheart! Greta joined us almost two months ago and has made the biggest improvement since her first day. On Greta’s interview day and a few following days after, she was very shy and did not interact much with the other dogs. She was very nervous to enter the yard and to be greeted by all of the other happy pups. Now, two months later, Greta runs right in the play yard beyond excited to greet all of her furry friends. Our staff just loves to see pups fall in love with camp and finally become comfortable! Greta is so affectionate and always makes sure to give a quick hello to the counselors in the play yards, waiting for them to give her some love before she goes back to playing! We just love Greta and her beautiful self and could not be more thankful to have her as a part of our Camp Bow Wow pack!

Sarge has such a happy go lucky personality, always up for the challenge to make new furry friends at every visit and can always bring the interview dogs out of their shell. He has become one of our most popular pups as every time he enters the yard the whole pack runs to greet him, ready to play! Sarge has made lots of new furry friends during his short time here, but his very best would have to be Quill! They romp on and under the play bridges, zooming in and outside. They only pause to get a quick drink and then continue in on the fun! We just adore Sarge and are so grateful to have him be a part of our Camp Bow Wow family!

Bleu is deaf, but he doesn’t let that stop him from having as much fun as possible while here at camp! He makes sure to befriend every pup in the yard, and rolls over on his back to let the other pups wrestle on top of him. Bleu never fails to make our counselors laugh with his hilarious play tactics. After Bleu tires himself out from all that playing, he makes sure to snuggle up in the corner of the play area for his afternoon nap! Bleu has such a fun, spunky personality and the camp counselors can never get enough of him! We just love Bleu and are so grateful that he has become such an important part of the Camp Bow Wow family!

Bailey is one of the shyest pups we have, always taking his naps underneath our red play bridge in the teacup yard! When he’s not sleeping, Bailey loves getting his love and affection from the camp counselors! He scratches at their legs for attention and they just can’t resist that cute face looking up at them. Bailey is such a great addition to our pack and we could not be happier to have her become such an important part of our Camp Bow Wow family!
