A Culture of Safety and Professional Care
At Camp Bow Wow Philadelphia Northeast, our reputation is built on our rigorous safety protocols. We go above and beyond to ensure a secure environment for every dog, every hour of the day.
- Professionally Trained Staff: Our Certified Camp Counselors undergo extensive, proprietary training that covers dog behavior, group dynamics, safety management, and emergency response, including Pet First Aid and CPR certification. They are canine professionals dedicated to your dog's well-being.
- Health and Behavior Screening: To maintain a safe and compatible play environment, all potential Campers must pass our comprehensive Camper Interview—a required behavior assessment. We also mandate that all Campers are spayed or neutered and are current on all necessary vaccinations. We strictly adhere to our policies regarding contagious illnesses.
- Constant Transparency: We understand that being away from your dog can be tough. That's why we provide accessible live webcams throughout the day. You, the pet parent, can log in from any device to see your dog enjoying playtime, giving you real-time reassurance and a virtual window into their fun.
- Overnight Vigilance: Unlike some facilities, we ensure there is always a Certified Caregiver on-site around the clock. Your dog is never left alone, providing an added layer of safety and peace of mind through the night.

Warminster FAQs
Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Philadelphia Northeast is here to help!
-
Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
