Gerry and John Owner
Gerry had previously worked in the pharmaceutical research field for many years, having most recently worked as a consultant at Ethicon Biosurgery (a Johnson & Johnson company). For over 30 years, John worked at National Starch & Chemical Company (now called Ingredion), mostly recently in the role of Vice President of Research and Development. With a burning desire to leave New Jersey and begin our life in Myrtle Beach, John retired from his position, and Gerry left Ethicon and they began their journey with Camp Bow Wow. Having traveled extensively for work, they both understood the importance of a safe and fun place to leave their furry family members. After utilizing the services of Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater for many years, they decided to pursue their dream of working with dogs (and for themselves). It has been a wild ride, and they would not trade this experience for anything in the world! Meeting so many wonderful pups and their parents has been more enjoyable than they could have ever imagined!
Fun Facts
What I love most about my job: It is a tie between seeing the dogs pull their parents through the door because they can't wait to play, and the wonderful pet parents that we have met in the Grand Strand area!
Our dogs: Daisy (Australian Cattle Dog) and JackĀ (Pitbull Mix).
