Why Our Dog Hotel Near Sumner County Stands Out

Dog families in this area have choices, so it helps to know what makes our dog hotel experience near Sumner County different. We built our Camp around how dogs actually like to spend their time, with open play, social interaction, and plenty of attention from humans who truly care. This is not a quick walk and back to a run. It is a full Camp experience for your pup.

Our open-play environment means dogs spend their days romping with other Campers in spacious indoor and outdoor yards. Camp Counselors are always present, guiding healthy play, watching body language, and helping shy or energetic dogs feel comfortable. We strive to send dogs home pleasantly tired, satisfied, and eager to come back.

We also keep things simple with transparent, all-inclusive pricing. Playtime, snuggles, and basic care are part of every boarding stay, so you are not surprised by add-on fees for the things most dogs need. You know what you are paying for up front, and you know that your dog is getting consistent care from our team during every visit.

Comfort matters as much as fun, especially for overnight guests. Our cabins give dogs a quiet place to unwind after a full day of activity. We pay attention to each dog’s personality and routine, so they get the right mix of exercise, social time, and rest. The result is a dog hotel experience that feels more like a vacation and less like a traditional stay.

What Overnight Dog Boarding Near Sumner County Includes

When you book overnight dog boarding, you deserve to know exactly what your pup’s stay will look like. At Camp, boarding dogs enjoy a full day of supervised play, not just a quick outing. Most Campers join group play in our indoor and outdoor yards after breakfast and rotate between activity and rest as needed throughout the day.

As evening approaches, dogs wind down with dinner and calmer play or rest time. When it is bedtime, your dog heads to a cozy cabin with comfortable bedding and a calm atmosphere. We aim to keep feeding schedules and routines as close as possible to what your dog enjoys at home, which can help them settle in more quickly.

Our team pays attention to how each dog is doing during their stay. Some pups love to be in the middle of the action all day. Others benefit from extra breaks and quiet time. We watch for those cues and adjust playtime and rest so that every dog feels content, not overwhelmed. By the time you pick up your dog, they have enjoyed a structured, fun, and restful experience.

Here is what a typical overnight stay at Camp includes:

  • Supervised all-day group play in indoor and outdoor yards
  • Cozy private cabins with comfortable bedding for nighttime rest
  • Regular meals based on your dog’s usual feeding schedule
  • Built-in rest breaks for pups who need a little downtime
  • Plenty of human interaction, affection, and basic TLC from Camp Counselors

For families searching for overnight dog boarding near Sumner County, our goal is to provide an experience that keeps your dog active and relaxed, so you return to a happy, confident Camper. You can head out of town knowing your dog is in a place that feels familiar and fun.

How We Keep Campers Safe

Safety is often the first question pet parents ask about overnight dog boarding. We share that priority. Before any dog joins group play or books a boarding stay, we use a Camper screening process. This helps us understand each dog’s temperament and supports a good fit for the open-play setting with other dogs.

During the day, Camp Counselors supervise play yards and watch how dogs interact. They encourage appropriate play, guide energetic dogs toward good manners, and give nervous pups time to warm up. Dogs are grouped thoughtfully to support comfort and compatibility, which helps keep the mood relaxed and fun in our yards.

Our facility is designed with safety in mind, from secure fencing to clearly defined play areas. We follow regular cleaning routines and work to keep shared spaces fresh for our Campers. At night, boarding dogs rest in their cabins, and our team keeps a close watch on the Camp environment to help everyone stay comfortable.

We also give you a window into your dog’s day. Our webcams allow pet parents to log in and see their dog enjoying playtime. Being able to check in can make it easier to enjoy your own plans, because you can see for yourself that your pup is active, supervised, and engaged in our dog boarding service program near Sumner County.

Planning Your Dog’s Overnight Stay

A smooth first visit starts with a little planning. If your dog has not been to Camp before, the first step is to schedule a Camper interview or evaluation day. This gives our team time to meet your dog, learn about their personality, and see whether our environment is a good match for them before an overnight stay.

Once your dog is cleared for boarding, booking is simple. Many families in this county like to reserve spots ahead of school breaks, holidays, and busy travel seasons, since those times can fill quickly. We encourage early reservations so you can secure your preferred dates and focus on planning the rest of your trip.

We provide the core comforts at Camp, and you can bring items that help your dog feel at home. Most pet parents like to bring their dog’s regular food to support consistent nutrition, along with any allowed comfort items that fit our policies. If your dog has special routines, you can share those details so we can work to follow them as closely as we reasonably can.

To get ready for your dog’s first overnight stay, it helps to:

  • Schedule a Camper interview or evaluation day ahead of your travel dates
  • Confirm vaccination requirements and basic health guidelines with our team
  • Pack your dog’s regular food and simple comfort items if allowed
  • Share feeding instructions and any needed medication directions
  • Consider a daycare visit first if your dog is new to group play

If you are thinking about doggie boarding near Sumner County for an upcoming trip, our team is happy to walk you through the process. We aim to make drop-off feel simple, and pick-up feel like a happy reunion after your dog’s own little vacation.

Sumner County FAQs

Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Mt Juliet is here to help!

  • Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.

The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.

Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.

In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.

  • Yes, we offer extended dog boarding! We understand that sometimes life takes you away for a bit longer, and we're here to make sure your pup is happy and comfortable the whole time.

Many of our locations offer discounts for stays of 10 nights or more, and work with you on extended boarding options to make things as smooth as possible. To learn more about specific details and available discounts, contact your local Camp Bow Wow today!

  • Yes, we offer dog boarding for all breeds! The safety and well-being of our canine guests are our top priorities. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we require all dogs to pass a Camper Interview. This process helps us determine if our play-based environment is a good fit for your pup.

While we don't discriminate based on breed, please note that some insurance policies and city ordinances may have restrictions. For specific questions about our policies, please contact your local Camp Bow Wow today.

  • To maintain our incredibly high standards and satisfaction ratings, your pup must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines.

Other vaccinations and requirements for dog boarding can vary by Camp. Contact your local Camp Bow Wow for details.

  • If you'd like to drop off your pup for overnight dog boarding stays, we suggest you bring them in before 4 pm to ensure they have plenty of time to play, eat and enjoy themselves before bedtime.

To ensure we can give your dog plenty of attention when you come to pick them up, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before closing time.
