Camp Bow Wow Monument's dog training services are designed to forge a healthy bond between you and your pup. Our premier dog training services offer variety, flexibility, and can cater to your dog’s specific needs. Our goal is to help you and your pup establish clear communication and enjoy working together. We believe training is a life-long process and should be both fun and challenging.

The training we offer is based on scientifically proven methodology and aligns with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA^®), the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and other established animal welfare organizations.

Dog Training Pricing

Group Dog Training Classes	Price
Level 1: Basic Dog Training 6 week class. Dogs must be over 4 months in age. Vaccinations required. This class teaches basic manners and helps owners with behavioral issues.	$300.00
Level 2: Advanced Dog Training 6 week class. Prerequisite: Level I Basic Dog Training. This class teaches advanced behaviors like heel, place, and distractions.	$300.00
Level 3: Public Polishing & Canine Good Citizen Prep 6 week class. Prerequisite: Level 2 Advanced Dog Training. This is intense focus training on solidifying behaviors. Can be used as prep for CGC test.	$300.00

In-Camp Training	Price
1-on-1: Board & Train Session includes: 30-minute training sessions while your pup is boarding with us at Camp Bow Wow. Session prices are in addition to Day and Overnight Camp rates. Campers attending in-Camp training must first pass our initial interview process.	$30.00

Group Classes

Camp Bow Wow’s group classes include a variety of programs for all skill levels. Our obedience program is split into multiple levels, so pups start with the basics and increase the difficulty through each level as you and your dog progress. Other group classes include tricks, leash-walking skills, CGC prep, and more!

The three levels of our obedience classes are:

Level I—Basic: Builds the foundation of reliable commands like sit, down, leave it, come when called, and leash walking.
Level II—Intermediate: Learn how to get your dog to heel by your side, go to their mat, and add distance plus distractions to all their behaviors.
Level III—Public Polishing/CGC Prep: This level teaches your dog to sit when you greet a stranger, heel in a crowd, and more. They will now be prepared for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam.

In-Camp & Private Training

Camp Bow Wow Monument offers several options for pet parents who prefer their pup receives private training. Our Certified Trainers can work with your dog while they attend Camp, spending one-on-one time with them teaching behaviors you would like to work on. We can also provide training services for you and your dog in a private setting, based on your needs.

A typical dog training session with Camp Bow Wow can last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the type of training session and you and your dog’s specific needs. This allows us ample time to help you and your dog learn and practice new skills while leaving time to adjust the process as needed and set clear expectations for the next session. At Camp Bow Wow, we offer a variety of training services to accommodate different needs. Our most common services include group classes, private training, and in-Camp training for while your pup is playing for the day or staying overnight. In many of our dog training sessions, we work on basic obedience like "sit," "stay," and "come," as well as leash walking to help make walks easy and enjoyable. Yes, we offer puppy training at Camp Bow Wow! Our programs are designed to help your furry friend develop good habits and learn basic obedience skills from a young age. We understand that puppies have unique needs, which is why our puppy training classes are tailored to their age and development. We offer puppy obedience training for puppies ages 10 weeks to 4 months old. Select locations also offer our Pawsitive Start Jr. program to provide a well-rounded approach to puppy care.
