Price & Julia Owners
Meet Price & Julia! We LOVE Camp Life. We value our purpose deeply, and we love that every decision we make has a direct impact on every single dog and human in our care. It is an extra special bonus to run a business as a father-daughter duo.
Julia opened Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights in the spring of 2019, and when Price retired in 2022, the two took over Camp Bow Wow Flower Mound from sisters, Amy and Kara. Amy stayed on for "six months" to help with a smooth ownership transition. All these years later, Amy is still here keeping Julia and Price sane. She is such a treasure to all of us, and the trio-collaboration has become one of the greatest joys of this business.
Price's career of 40+ years in finance and Julia’s background in luxury hospitality and leadership complement each other beautifully. Our lifelong obsession with animals and genuine passion for people and community have made this adventure even more special. We genuinely enjoy our joint career.
Price and his wife live on some property north of The Woodlands with their four German Shepherds, including Liam, a former Camp foster dog through Animal Justice League. While they only have pups now, the property used to be full of horses, cats, and a variety of small pets, mostly living in Julia's room when growing up.
Julia and her fiancé live in The Heights with their German Wirehaired Pointer princess, Aubrey, and Catahoula-thing (so many different breeds, according to his DNA test!), Cashew Nut. Aubrey loves managing "her" play yards, but as Cashie cannot be nice enough to other dogs to make friends, he helps the managers with hiring, payroll, etc. in the office.
PS -- If you ever see dogs standing on top of the office desk with toys in their mouths, these silly munchkins would be Aubrey (white & black) and Cashie (brindle). They love pets hello and treats snuck over from the front desk counter!

Amy Operating Partner
Meet Amy! She has been with the CBW brand since 2007 and built and opened the Flower Mound location with her sister in 2018. Their dream was to create a truly special place for the pups and pet parents of the community! In 2023, the sisters handed the ownership reigns to the Ambler family and Amy is still actively involved as an Operating Parter for both Camps.
Amy has life-long local roots. She grew up in Carrollton, graduated from TCU, and moved to Flower Mound after college. Her husband Scott is also a local native and is a Captain with the FMFD. They share a love for dogs and their favorite thing to do is spend time out in the country with their three pups!

Caley Regional CoordinatorMeet Caley! A Flower Mound local that followed her passion for animals and started working at Camp as a Camp Counselor right after we opened in 2018. She jumped in and learned the business and it quickly became apparent she was going to have a long career with Camp Bow Wow. She is now our Camp Regional Project Coordinator and is also the creative mind behind all of the Camper Enrichment activities, social media, and picture days. Our Campers love Caley and you will often hear her talking to the dogs in funny voices and giving them silly nicknames. When she’s not at Camp, she likes to cook, stay active and spend time with her husband & own pups. She is mom to Willow a lab mix and Odin the Rottweiler.
