  • Consistent daily caregivers who get to know your dog’s habits, preferences, and personality over time.

Flexible & Customizable Boarding Options

Understanding that each pet has unique needs, we offer a range of customizable dog boarding packages. Whether your dog requires special dietary arrangements or extra playtime, we are equipped to meet every requirement. Our flexibility ensures your pet receives the best possible care during their stay. Choose from various activity levels and enrichment programs that cater specifically to your dog’s energy and social needs. We also offer premium services such as grooming and behavioral training sessions, all customizable to fit your pet's schedule.

Our facilities are designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes and breeds. With individualized feeding schedules and comfort routines, your pet will receive the royal treatment, ensuring their boarding experience is as seamless as possible. Discuss your pet's preferences with our staff when booking, and we'll make sure their stay is both comfortable and enjoyable.

For dogs staying multiple nights, our overnight dog boarding routines include calm evening wind-down time, regular potty breaks, and a consistent lights-out schedule to support restful sleep. You can let us know if your dog prefers a quieter space, extra snuggles, or additional play before bedtime, and we will do our best to mirror the routines they are used to at home so the transition into our camp feels natural.

You can tailor your dog’s visit by choosing from options such as:

  • Activity levels that match your dog’s age and energy, from extra play sessions to more relaxed schedules.
  • Diet and feeding plans that follow your instructions for food type, portion sizes, and treat preferences.
  • Additional services like grooming or training sessions that can be added during a longer stay.
  • Special care notes for senior dogs, puppies, or pets with unique comfort needs so we can adjust their routine.

Health, Safety, and Comfort During Boarding

When choosing a place for your dog to stay, it is natural to want details about how their health, safety, and comfort are protected throughout the visit. At Camp Bow Wow North Raleigh, we follow clear vaccination and wellness requirements so that dogs sharing play areas are as healthy as possible before they arrive. Our team also monitors each guest for changes in appetite, energy level, or behavior, and notes anything unusual so we can respond quickly and keep you informed.

Cleanliness is a core part of our daily routine, and our staff follows regular schedules for sanitizing cabins, play yards, and common spaces. Fresh water is always available, comfortable bedding is checked and refreshed, and climate-controlled indoor areas help dogs stay cool in the warmer North Carolina months and cozy when temperatures drop. We aim to create a stable environment where your dog feels secure, whether they are here for a short visit or a longer stay.

Because we serve many pet parents who commute through North Raleigh and nearby communities around North Ridge, we also focus on making drop-off and pick-up as smooth as possible. Clear check-in procedures, review of feeding instructions, and confirmation of emergency contacts help us deliver consistent care from the moment your dog arrives. These steps give you confidence that your dog boarding service is organized and thoughtful, so you can focus on your day while we focus on your dog.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Bring for My Dog’s Boarding Stay?

When boarding your dog at our facility, we recommend bringing their regular diet, a favorite toy, and any necessary medication. Familiar items can help ease the transition for your pet. Please label all belongings clearly to avoid any mix-ups. Our team will ensure these are given to your pet as needed to provide a sense of comfort and familiarity during their stay. Additionally, if your pet has a special blanket or bedding they are fond of, feel free to bring it along as it might make their stay more comfortable.

To help us provide the best care, share any details about feeding times, allergies, or routines your dog follows at home when you arrive. This information allows our team to tailor your dog's schedule and play sessions, and it is especially important for dogs with medical needs or puppies who are still building confidence in a new environment.

Many parents find it helpful to prepare a simple checklist before drop-off:

  • Pack your dog’s food in clearly labeled containers or bags with feeding amounts and times.
  • Include favorite comfort items like toys or a blanket that smells like home to help your dog relax.
  • Bring medications and instructions so our team can follow your routine exactly and on schedule.
  • Provide up-to-date contact details for you and your preferred veterinarian in the North Ridge or greater Raleigh area.

Can I Visit Your Facility Before Booking?

Absolutely! We invite pet parents to tour our facility to see where their pets will stay and learn more about our services. Tours can be scheduled during operating hours, providing you with insights into our operations and letting you meet our dedicated team. We believe an informed parent makes for a comfortable pet, and our open-door policy reflects our transparency and commitment to our community.

During your visit, feel free to discuss any concerns or special requests with our staff. We are here to ensure clarity and confidence in leaving your beloved pet with us, and building a relationship based on trust and openness.

Many pet parents like to combine a tour with a trial day of doggie boarding so their dog can explore the play areas while they observe how we interact with our guests. This trial run can help ease first-time jitters for both you and your dog, and gives our team a chance to learn more about your pet's personality before a longer stay.

When you schedule a tour, you can expect:

  • A guided walk-through of play yards, boarding areas, and rest spaces so you can see where your dog will spend time.
  • Time to meet team members and ask questions about daily routines, safety practices, and enrichment options.
  • Information about reservations including how to book, what forms to complete, and what to expect on drop-off day.
  • Suggestions tailored to your dog based on their age, size, and temperament to help you choose the right boarding plan.

North Ridge FAQs

Have questions? Camp Bow Wow North Raleigh is here to help!

  • Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.

The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.

Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.

In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.

  • Yes, we offer extended dog boarding! We understand that sometimes life takes you away for a bit longer, and we're here to make sure your pup is happy and comfortable the whole time.

Many of our locations offer discounts for stays of 10 nights or more, and work with you on extended boarding options to make things as smooth as possible. To learn more about specific details and available discounts, contact your local Camp Bow Wow today!

  • Yes, we offer dog boarding for all breeds! The safety and well-being of our canine guests are our top priorities. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we require all dogs to pass a Camper Interview. This process helps us determine if our play-based environment is a good fit for your pup.

While we don't discriminate based on breed, please note that some insurance policies and city ordinances may have restrictions. For specific questions about our policies, please contact your local Camp Bow Wow today.

  • To maintain our incredibly high standards and satisfaction ratings, your pup must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines.

Other vaccinations and requirements for dog boarding can vary by Camp. Contact your local Camp Bow Wow for details.

  • If you'd like to drop off your pup for overnight dog boarding stays, we suggest you bring them in before 4 pm to ensure they have plenty of time to play, eat and enjoy themselves before bedtime.

To ensure we can give your dog plenty of attention when you come to pick them up, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before closing time.
