Our Avondale Team

Haley has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since February of 2015! She is the head of our management team! Haley has always been passionate about animals, and began working in rescue when she was just 10 years old. Over the years, Haley has kept a few of her foster babies, but will always have a special place for her German Shepherd mix, Zebra, who passed away in 2023. Haley’s favorite things about Camp are interacting one on one with the pups and making sure they are happy!

Chase has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since October 2016! As an assistant manager, he prioritizes the safety and well-being of all our campers as well as tries to have as much fun as he can with them. Chase also has many furry friends of his own, but one of his favorites is his 4 year old pit bull named Beefy!

Anne has been a part of the Camp team since February 2009 (DAY ONE!)! She is now one of our assistant managers and absolutely loves every pup that walks through our doors! Anne is a foster mom for Valley Dogs Rescue, and has a passion for elderly pups who have had hard pasts. She also enjoys making bows and dresses for dogs (her chihuahua Lucy even has her own closet!). At camp, you can find Anne singing and dancing with the dogs, as well as grooming all of the fluffy babies.

Janine has been here at Camp Bow Wow Avondale since February 2009! Before her assistant manager position here at camp, she was a vet tech for about 10 years. She has always had a passion for animals and loves keeping all of our campers here safe and healthy. Janine has enjoyed meeting all the pups at camp throughout the years, and has even met multiple generations of pups within families!

Haley has been apart of our Camp Bow Wow Avondale team since April 2022! She started out as a Camp Counselor, and has since then made her way up front to help our pet parents. Her sidekick, Rue Rue, is always at her side, and loves saying hi to all of our campers as well as their parents when they stop by. Haley's favorite part about working with the dogs is getting to know all of their personalities as well as getting to know our Camp parents

Shannon has worked for Camp Bow Wow Avondale since October of 2021! Shannon has 5 dogs and 2 cats and would love to have more someday!

Matthew is an Operations Lead/Marketing Team Member and has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since February of 2019! Matthew does have 1 dog of his own named Bowser. Matthew is an Arizona native, but does travel to our sister camp in Boulder, Colorado quite frequently to help out. You can always find Matthew having a great time and playing with all of our campers!

Anthony has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since September of 2022 and has enjoyed every second of it! His favorite thing about Camp would be becoming friends with all the staff, pup parents, and of course the pups themselves!

Alexus has been apart of the Camp Bow Wow team since May of 2023 and has been amazing since day one! Her favorite thing about camp is coming into the yards and seeing how excited the dogs get as well as seeing how much fun the dogs have!

Mac has been with our Camp Bow Wow Avondale team since September 2022! His favorite thing about camp is watching the new interview pups become regulars! In Mac's free time he is an artist!

Maggie has been at Camp Bow Wow Avondale since April of 2023! Maggie's favorite thing about camp is meeting all the pups and it's also how she met one of her pets, Ivy!

Kyle has been with our Camp Bow Wow Avondale team since October 2024! He has already become one of our best counselors and absolutely loves playing with all the pups that come to camp!

Jaylynn has been at Camp Bow Wow Avondale since July of 2024! Her favorite thing about camp is all of the dogs and their different personalities! Jaylynn has 3 dogs of her own, 2 of which are from a shelter!

Serena has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since January of 2023! We have had so much fun having her on our team and she does a wonderful job working with all the campers! Serena's favorite thing about Camp is she loves helping every pup feel at home and working with the ones who are a bit more nervous! 

Kennedy has been at Camp for almost 2 months and is one of our best Camp Counselors! Her favorite thing about camp is getting to spend her days playing with all the different doggos! Kennedy has 2 pups of her own Sylvia and Tommy Lee! When not at Camp she loves to be outdoors with her dogs or hiking and playing music!

Lauren has been with Camp for about 6 months now and is loving meeting so many new friends! She has a small Yorkie of her own named Flash and loves bringing him to camp to play with our campers! 

Bianca has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since May of 2025! She has been doing a fantastic job connecting with our campers! Bianca's favorite thing about Camp is getting to love on all the pups that come in! Bianca has a dog of her own, Chip (pictured)! She hopes to become a vet one day!

Stephanie has been with us here at Camp since July! She loves being at Camp and sitting in our tea cup yard and working with the small nervous pups! 

Brandon has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since February of 2025! His favorite part of being at camp is being able to sit in our tea cup yard and spend time with the older and much smaller pups! Outside of camp you can find Brandon being a full time parent and spending time with his family and friends!

Tannin has been with Camp Bow Wow Avondale since July of 2021! He has 2 dogs of his own, Saloon (8 month old pitbull) and Joey (7 year old chihuahua)! Tannin’s favorite part about being apart of Camp Bow Wow is meeting all the new campers and playing with them!
