Overnight Dog Boarding at Camp Bow Wow Avondale
When you need overnight or multi-night dog care, our boarding program keeps your dog active, comfortable, and supervised from check-in to checkout. Boarding Campers spend the day in open-play indoor and outdoor yards alongside our daycare dogs, then settle into individual Cabins at night. Each Cabin comes with a cozy cot, a fleece blanket, and a nightly treat. It’s all included in the boarding price, with no add-ons required.
Boarding is a natural choice for pet owners traveling for work or vacation who want their dog in a supervised facility rather than home alone. Because boarding Campers join daycare play during the day, they can avoid the inactivity and isolation common in traditional kennel environments. Awesome experience. From the time we walked in the door to picking up our fur baby and everything in between. Our Yoshi had a blast in day camp. We are having him go to day camp once a week to get him used to the environment. We are going to be leaving Yoshi with Camp Bow Wow when we take our cruise. Every dog who joins Camp completes a Camper screening interview before their first day. This evaluation lets our team get to know your pup’s play style and temperament so we can set them up for a great experience from the start. Our Certified Camp Counselors® are trained in dog behavior, pet first aid, and dog CPR, and they monitor the play yards throughout the day to keep Campers safe and engaged.
Live web cameras let you check in from your computer or mobile device anytime during the day. There’s no guessing what your dog is up to. Pricing is all-inclusive with no hidden fees: all-day play, nightly bedtime treats, TLC from our Certified Camp Counselors, and medication administration are all covered in one straightforward price. Vaccination requirements, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella, apply to all Campers to protect dogs in our shared play environment.
What to Expect as a New Camper
Getting started is simple. New dogs complete a screening interview before their first day so our team can assess temperament and group your pup with dogs who share a similar play style and energy level. Once your dog passes the interview, their first day at Camp is free.
A typical day includes open play in our indoor and outdoor yards, monitored by Certified Camp Counselors throughout. Dogs balance active play with rest periods so they leave Camp content rather than overtired. For boarding stays, Campers move from the play yards into their individual Cabins overnight, where a cozy cot, fleece blanket, and bedtime treat are waiting. You can watch the whole day unfold through our live web cameras anytime. Dogs that attend daycare regularly before their first boarding stay can settle in faster. Familiar faces and surroundings can make the overnight transition easier.
