with Camp Bow Wow Vista
It’s no mystery that dogs love day care and boarding at Camp Bow Wow Vista– you can tell by the way they whine and bark with excitement at the mention of C-A-M-P and the way they pull their parents from the parking lot through the front door because they can’t wait to romp and play with their furry friends.
Helping Dogs at the North County Walk for Animals
We were out at the San Diego Humane Society North County Walk for Animals on Saturday, and even though it rained cats and dogs (mostly dogs, though there was one cat on a leash there), everyone had a great time and raised some money for a wonderful cause. There were some delightful visitors to our booth of the two- and four-legged variety, and it was inspiring to meet everyone who decided to spend their morning helping animals.
The weather looked pretty good early on, with light sprinkles here and there, but about a mile into the walk, mother nature went all out with pouring rain plus thunder and lightning. Thankfully the pups were all brave, and most of their owners were well prepared with raincoats for human and dog alike. (Yours truly, on the other hand, was totally unprepared and soaking wet by the end of the walk. Still worth it, though!)
As you can probably imagine, that many dogs in one place made for some great pictures. Keep an eye out on our Instagram page, as we’ll be posting our favorites all week long (and if you want to see a really, really adorable husky puppy, click here).
While you’re here, we of course want to remind you that we’ll be opening this summer to take care of all the wonderful dogs of North County, from Escondido and San Marcos to Oceanside and Carlsbad (and obviously Vista!). If you haven’t already, you can spin our digital prize wheel to win free dog boarding, doggy day care, grooming and more. Give it a spin, and we’ll be waiting to see you when we open.
Thanks again from all of us at Camp Bow Wow Vista to everyone who came out, and thanks to everyone at the San Diego Humane Society for putting the event together!
We’re Excited to Support the San Diego Humane Society at Walk for Animals
Do you know what’s better than spending a day walking with your pup? Spending a day walking with your pup, surrounded by other dog lovers and their dogs, while raising money for a great cause! That’s why we’re so excited to be participating in the San Diego Humane Society North County Walk for Animals.
The event is happening at Kit Carson Park in Escondido on February 22, and the money raised will go to some of the SD Humane Society’s amazing work helping not only with rescuing dogs, but also providing pet therapy in hospitals, wildlife rehabilitation, educational programs and emergency rescue.
We’ll be there meeting dog lovers, giving away some goodies and, if you let us, talking your ear off about how excited we are to open up! We’d love to see you there, but even if you can’t attend, you can always donate to this amazing organization.
Join us at the Carlsbad Marathon Health and Lifestyle Expo!
Happy new year! It’s 2020, and that means this is the year Camp Bow Wow Vista opens for business. You can follow us on Instagram, Facebook and right here for updates on our grand opening (or shoot us an email at email@example.com if you’d like to be added to our email list).
In the meantime, though, we’re still looking to meet all the amazing pups (and their owners) in the Tri-City area, and that’s why we’ll be waiting for you at our booth at the Carlsbad Marathon Health and Lifestyle Expo. It will be held at The Shoppes at Carlsbad from noon to 5pm on Friday, January 17 and 10am to 5pm on Saturday, January 18, so you’ve got plenty of time to stop by. We’ll have some goodies to give away, along with a prize basket of dog toys and treats that we’ll be raffling off to one lucky winner.
We can’t wait for a beautiful day at the races, and we hope you’re just as excited. Best of luck to all of those participating - we can’t wait to meet you!
Carlsbad Village Pets on Parade Recap - December 9th, 2019
Thanks to everyone who came out to visit us this Saturday for Pets on Parade at Carlsbad Village! There was a little bit of rain, but that didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm, and it was a really fantastic event that not only brought together some very good dogs (and their people), but also raised money for Wagging Dog Rescue.
We were joined by some other fantastic vendors, including Carlsbad Animal Hospital, Merry Jane & Thor (whose collars and leashes are truly beautiful), Tigertail Pet Foods and Carlsbad Cookie Company (they make cookies for people and dogs!), plus a fantastic DJ spinning some classic holiday tunes. Everyone had a ton of fun - if you missed out and want to see how it was, follow our Instagram, where we’ll be posting pics from the event all week long.
If you missed us but still want to come say hi, don’t worry - we’ll be back out on December 18 at Vista Night Out. We’ll be raffling off another basket of holiday goodies for your pooch, so come on by! And as always, if you’d like to stay updated as we get closer to opening, you can on Instagram or Facebook, or shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

to find us at events throughout Vista, Carlsbad and Oceanside for the
next few months, and we hope you’ll come stop by and say hi.
Our first event is Pets on Parade at Carlsbad Village from 10:30am to 1pm this Saturday, December 7.
