Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why Camp Bow Wow

There are many reasons why Camp Bow Wow is loved by furry friends and parents alike! It is a way for your pup to receive regular exercise to maintain a healthy diet. Camp also helps decrease your pet’s boredom, separation anxiety, and destructive behavior at home. Additionally, Camp improves your pup’s socialization skills with people and other dogs, and enhances his or her quality of life.

  • Will my dog be safe in your care

At Camp Bow Wow, safety is our top priority! Parents can feel confident knowing their pet is well-cared for and safe when they’re with us for a number of reasons. All of our Certified Camp Counselors are extensively trained in dog behavior, pet first aid, and CPR. Each Camper is required to pass a socialization interview, and must be spayed or neutered, and current on their vaccinations. Our facilities are monitored 24/7, and you can check in on your dog from anywhere with your computer or cell phone.

  • How much do services cost

With our all-inclusive pricing, the price you see is the price you pay! You can receive the wonderful benefits that Camp has to offer, without having to worry about any hidden surprises.

  • Do you turn away dogs based on their breed

It is not corporate policy to turn away a dog based on breed—we welcome all dogs based on their behavior and ability to handle the rigors of Camp. City Ordinances or Insurance Policies may not allow certain Camp locations to accept a particular breed. Please discuss any questions or concerns around Camp policies with the individual Camp owner.

  • Do you background check your employees

Yes! Not only do our Certified Caregivers have to pass their background check, they also have to pass a certification program before they are able to care for pets. We only hire people that we would trust with our own animals, so you can be sure your pets are in the best hands possible.

  • Do you work with dogs with health issues

Absolutely! One of the benefits of Camp Bow Wow's in-home service is that we are trained to care for elderly pets, or pets with special needs. We will get detailed information on how you care for your pet, so we can duplicate it while you’re at work or away.
