What’s your background (personal or professional)?:
For about the last 7 years, I have worked in the Event and Hospitality Industries. I have worked at MaxFund Animal Shelter in the past and did quite a bit of volunteer work in college at the local animal shelter. What do you love most about your job? I love that I get to be around dogs everyday. Whether I am actually in the yards or in my office, every dog that comes in brightens my day!
Tell us about your pets:
I have 2 dogs and one cat. My dogs are Bowser (Labrador/Great Dane mix) and Gandalf (Dalmatian/Hound mix) and my cat is Licorice. we rescued both Bowser and Licorice from MaxFund Animal Shelter and Gandalf came from Florida. Bowser and Gandalf come to Camp with me occasionally, and have spent lots of time in each corporate Camp Bow Wow, with their first camp being Northglenn! Too bad Licorice can't come to Camp though, because he is practically a dog as well. He begs for food and loves to go outside on his leash! I would not trade any of them for the world!
What’s your favorite dog breed and why?:
If mutt is a dog breed, then that is my favorite. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and they were absolutely wonderful dogs, but my boys are mutts and they are the best! They have such great personalities and are just the best fur babies a mama could ask for. They are completely opposite of each other, but play and have a great time together everyday!
What are your hobbies outside of camp?:
I am originally from Michigan, so during the summertime I try to get out onto any sort of water I can. One of my newest favorite water sports from the past couple of years is paddleboarding. I also love camping in the mountains, a bit of hiking and love to play volleyball any chance I get. I love to do yoga as much as I can every day, though sometimes that doesn't work in my favor and take pictures of my 3 boys, whether it's just to take pictures for fun or to update their Instagram!

What’s your background (personal or professional)?
I have had dogs all my life and have always known I would work with dogs. I am also a certified pet groomer.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being around all of our furry friends! They are so much fun to watch in the yard and it is awesome to know we are making a difference for them and their pet parents.
Tell us about your pets:
I have a Boxer/Greyhound mix named Copper. He is four years old and just a bunch of personality. He loves to tell me how he feels and spend time with me. He is a great big lap dog.
What’s your favorite dog breed and why?
I absolutely love English Bulldogs. I am a sucker for the wrinkles, short legs and those beefy bodies. Basically any dog with wrinkles and flat faces and I’m sold!
What are your hobbies outside of camp?
I am really into theater. I love going to shows and have a subscription to the Performing Arts Center. If I can’t be at a show, then I’m at home cuddling with Copper and reading a good book.
“On camp days, he comes home tired and sleeps soundly by the fire all night.”

“I absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow Denver LoDo!!”
“The staff here is so friendly and really knows my pup and her quirks.”
“I also appreciate the cameras, because I am a crazy pet parent and I like to be able to see my girl having fun during the day!”
