At Ann Arbor We Love Our Campers
We LOVE our Campers! Check out our featured Campers at Camp Bow Wow Ann Arbor. These pups love to play all day in our fun, safe and social environment, and receive lots of love and attention from our Certified Camp Counselors® whether they’re in for day care or boarding.
July Camper of the MonthApollo
Hi! My name is Apollo and I'm a Labrador and Catahoula mix that recently turned one in human years. Some rumors also suggest I've got Terrier and Chihuahua in me, but whatever. My family got me from Tri County Rescue. My favorite things are other dogs and other humans. I like to lick faces, wrestle, tug ears, give hugs with my paws, and I'm often willing to wait outside of the Rite Aid to greet new people in such fashion. Car rides are a favorite and I prefer a good view. Camp Bow Wow is another favorite thing! Other hobbies include chewing on stuff, fetch when I wanna, exploring with my sniffer, and lounging about the house.
June Camper of the MonthFez
May Camper of the MonthIzzy
Izzy came to us when she was 10 weeks old, just before the big snow storm we had in February 2020. I was very afraid we would lose her in the deep snow, but she showed her energy and sense for fun right away. In no time she was leaping through the snow and chasing snowflakes and snowballs. She has not stopped chasing anything that moves since then. Playing frisbee is her favorite outdoors game when she is not playing a rousing game of chase and keep away with some neighbors. Inside she likes to hunt for socks and run into a room to show us what she has found and then play keep away with us until she surrenders her prize (a dirty sock) with out harming it. She is truly a herding dog by nature and keeps track of her cat and people on a regular basis. The human part of her pack is not bothered by this, but the cat gets quite annoyed when Izzy literally sticks her nose or a firm paw into her feline business. Izzy also enjoys Camp Bow Wow. She has a specific leash and knows that when she it is attached to her collar that she is going to see her friends at Day Camp.
April Camper of the MonthDodger
Dodger was adopted when he was 9 months old and has always had a gratuitous amount of love and energy to give. He loves attention as much as he loves water, and if you've ever seen him surrounded by either option, he's a happy boy. Favorite games include tug-of-war, chase, destroy the stick, fetch the frisbee minus the "bring it back" part, and sitting for treats. Dodger, besides being a 4 year old 85lb ham, is also 100% a lap dog after a day of play and running.
October Camper of the MonthHenry
Henry has been coming to camp for over 6 years. He is a super boy & love to play. Henry enjoys playing with the big dogs, even though he is short 🙂
