More Information About the Trainers at Western States K-9 College

If you have a problem pooch, the Western States K-9 College trainers are here to help!

When it comes to your dog’s safety and happiness we use only the best trainers at Camp Bow Wow South Salt Lake.  Joe Dickinson is the business owner and Training Consultant for Western States K-9 College and is also the Lead Trainer for Salt Lake County Animal Services.  Joe has been training dogs professionally since 1996.  Joe's philosophy is not one of a single "method" or training "tool".  Joe's priority is to educate their clients on their dog's behavior. She believes that "each dog is an individual and must be approached that way."

Hannah McNabb is a Trainer and Field Representative with Western States K-9 College.  She has been training dogs practically her whole life and has a special connection with them.  Her philosophy, like Joe's, is that having a sucessfully trained dog is as much about training the person as it is about training the dog.

There is no problem too big or small for these trainers to fix. Whether your dog needs basic obedience classes or a more intense one-on-one custom training program, they can handle it all. As Hannah says: "Based on the individual personalities of the dog and the needs of the client, dog training is a process we go through with our dogs; it's not something we do to our dogs.  Your dog can love you and not respect you.  Respect is gained through hard work, education, and trust."
