How Can I Go To Camp?

First of all, you need to make sure you meet these requirements:

  • Must be at least 4 months old
  • Spayed or Neutered
    (if over 6 months)
  • Current vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper &  6 month Bordetella (k9 cough)
  • must be healthy
  • flea/tick free
  • dog friendly**
  • generally love to play
  • Pass the socialization interview

If you meet the requirements, your parents need to call camp and schedule your socialization interview at 210-826-9969. Mom and Dad will also complete a camper application for you. You'll then get to play all day with dogs with your same temperament and size at no cost to your parents. This interview cannot be done on your first day of boarding.

**If you think that your dog is not social, give Camp a try. You'd be surprised at how fast and easy a dog's natural instinct to be a part of the pack really unfolds. We do work with dogs who tend to be a little shy or nervous. Our Camp Counselors work at your dog's pace to make the first day experience stress free. Over time your dog will have a positive experience playing in an open play environment. Some dogs learn quickly while others take time depending how often he/she visits Camp.
