If you are looking for a companion for yourself or a companion for your four-legged friend, stop by The Animal Defense League. They have so many great dogs and cats to choose from.

Did you know that the Animal Defense League has a small park in the back of their facilities? They do. Take a stroll and see what they've done to the place. So many volunteers have really made a difference by fixing up the grounds. If you have a little extra time on these cooler days, take a drive to ADL and walk a dog through the grassy fields. You'll both enjoy plus you'll both get plenty of exercise.

Meet Tracy.

I’m a gorgeous 2 year old female lab mix with the softest coat you’ve ever touched! I’m the most personable dog you will ever meet. I am spayed, current on all my shots, heartworm free and the best of all, I'm crate trained. I was able to go home with a Camp Counselor and I was so good. I slept with her other two dogs and never caused any trouble.

I give lots of love but also like to have love in return. The Camp Counselors have really taken a liking to me. I know I will find my forever home one day. I can't be resisted. Come by and visit me sometime. I'd love to meet you.

One Handsome Guy Looking for a New Home!

"Max" is an all-around happy labrador/bloodhound mix. He is about 18 months old, weighs in at 80 pounds, walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands.
Due to a stomach condition he is on a strict hypo-allergenic kibble diet; administering his medication is no problem, for he loves to eat.
"Max" loves other dogs, people and showed no interest when encountering cats in nature. He enjoys the dog park and can't wait to get to doggie camp.
A loving family where someone is home during the day would suit him best, so that he has a chance to burn off his energy daily during long walks or at the dog park.
Max is family oriented and is strictly an inside dog.

Notes from camp: Max comes to camp on a regular basis. He's a handsome devil and does great on a leash. Max would make a great addition to any home. Please come by and meet Max. I guarantee you'll fall in love.
