Dog Training Options:
Private In-Home Lessons
Perfect for the dog that is too nervous and distracted to sit through an hour long group class in a strange environment. Private lessons can be custom tailored to the behaviors most important to you and your dog. Lessons are more focused on training through behaviors such as resource guarding, leash reactivity, and behaviors specific to the home environment. Lessons can also include basic obedience such as: sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, go to place, heeling, tricks, focus/relationship building. Sessions run for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Play and Train
Have a pesky behavior problem, but don't have time to work it out at home? Let our trainer work with your pup at Camp and get a jump start in the right direction. Training features two 15-20 minute sessions throughout each day your dog is at Camp. Training can be focused on behavioral problems such as dog or human aggression, or basic obedience. Play and Train packages allow your pooch to play all day at camp with one-on-one training lessons during their stay.
*Board and Train*
The specialty Board and Train packages are for more intense training needs. While your dog boards here at camp for a minimum of 10 days, our certified trainer will work one-on-one in daily sessions covering behavioral issues such as aggression, socialization, focus and confidence building as well as any obedience issues like jumping and leash walking. Packages include a consultation and follow-up lesson.
Group Class Schedule
Class size is limited, so please call early to sign up! Classes are held at Nashville Pet Products Center located just a few minutes from Camp.
Honors Advanced Obedience
- Got your CGC and want to learn more? This advanced obedience class goes into heeling, long stays, and other advanced exercises based on the American Kennel Clubs obedience standards.
Time: 4:00pm-4:45pm
Class runs for 8 weeks.
Tricks Class
- A super fun, yet educational class for the pooch that wants to learn some cool new tricks! We will go over many behaviors like shake, roll over, and retrieve. The end-of-course test will be two chained behaviors of your own!
Starts: Saturday, 7/7
Time: 5:00pm-5:45pm
Class runs for 8 weeks.
CGC/Basic Obedience Class
- Sit, Down, Stays, Greeting strangers/dogs, Loose Leash Walking, Handling, Recall, Distractions, Leave-it, etc.
- This class will result in Canine Good Citizen testing.
Starts: Saturday, 7/7
Time: 6:00pm – 6:45pm
Class runs for 8 weeks.
