At Camp Bow Wow you can be assured that your dog gets adequate indoor and outdoor playtime at their choosing, and will be exhausted at the end of the day from the endless amount of fun they had at Camp. Outdoor play yards help us maintain our motto of “All day play, snooze the night away®”. Please keep in mind Camp Bow Wow DOES NOT allow any toys, balls, chew toys, etc in any of our play yards!! We all wish this could be an option however, some Campers tend to become agressive and possesive over such items leading to disagreements or worse cases amongst our Campers. Such items ARE allowed to be in each Camper's personal cabin space if boarding and most definitely will be utilized on a one on one basis between your Camper and our Camp Counselors.

All of our Campers are having a "PAWSOME" time since we installed the artificial turf and new fencing. Campers tend to go outside more often now, especially on these beautiful Spring Days!! Our 4 play yards will have a Pup Pool to take a swim in, playground equipment, and a new shade barrier to provide ample shade to play the day away out on the turf. All yards will again have play yard equipment within the next week. By the first of May we will have shade barriers which will be in place to provide ample amount of shade in each outside play yard to provide a cool environment.

As stated before we are VERY happy about the turf and several new additions that are coming still!! These are the reasons we got excited about our new Artificial Turf and we have been very happy with the feedback YOU are giving us regarding it:

1. No Muddy Paws! - Less bathing time spent for clients!

2. Much easier to maintain than pea gravel or natural grass - just clean, green grass  24/7/365!

3. More gentle on your dog’s paws than pea gravel or mulch. - This is evident with our Camp Staff seeing the result in our Campers wanting to be outside much more during the day and will get better when the play ground equipment is introduced once again!
