Meet CARY JO!
This is Cary Jo! She is a 8-month old Golden that is currently fostered at Camp Bow Wow. For a young pup she is very calm but has the energy for play and keeping up with an active family. We have been very impressed with understanding of her obedience commands. She is still a She knows sit, stay, down, and walks well on a leash. She is a quick learner and could be a lot of fun for someone who wants to do other activities with her. She will politely sit in front of you to seek attention but if you don't respond with a hello she will gently jump on you. She does very well with all of the other Campers and Staff. Cary Jo is on the small side and we don't expect her to get much bigger. She is a joy to be around and if very comfortable with new dogs and people.
Cary Jo is young and she will need to be with a family who is willing to provide routine exercise and play time.
Cary Jo recently spent the evening with one of our staff and she was perfectly comfortable with the two cats. In fact, one of them walked across her back and she just layed there!!! She is housebroken and was very comfortable in the house.
Meet Jackson!
Jackson is a young boy who should be called "Action" Jackson. He loves to play and will definitely need a home with an active lifestyle that will include daily exercise for Jackson. He shows a lot of joy in just being a dog and may have some potential for agility. Jackson is on the small side and he is currently slightly underweight. We have implemented a plan for him to gradually gain weight but we don't expect him to be very large once he is full grown. Jackson knows sit, shake and down when asked. He gets very excited about meeting new people and does tend to jump up on people. He will need a little bit of work in this area. He is also very vocal and doesn't mind using his voice to get attention.
Jackson is currently housed at Camp Bow Wow but would love to find a forever home where he can go for walks, romp in the yard and just play, play, play.
Jackson recently had an overnight visit with one of our staff members and he was very friendly with her cat. He is house trained and did fine for his overnight visit.
Meet Heide!!!
This girl has talent! Heide is currently housed at Camp Bow Wow as a resident Foster. Someone has spent a great deal of time with Heide. She knows MANY commands and cute stuff. From Sit, down, stay, shake, plus a long list of other things. She is a little timid right now but she is still adjusting to her new surroundings. She gets along with other dogs and loves the attention of our staff.
Please watch for updates on Heide as we get to know her a little better.
