Greenville Tech P.E.T.S. Festival - Sat. July 18th The P.E.T.S. Festival is an annual event held by the Animal Studies Department of Greenville Technical College meant to promote animal care and welfare in our community. This event will include pet-friendly vendors, grooming competitions, raffles, dog supplies, and veterinary consultations. Both friendly, leashed pets and their human guardians, along with the entire family, are welcome at the P.E.T.S Festival.  This year's event will be held at the  Greenville Technical College Northwest Campus, 8109 Whitehorse Rd, Greenville, SC, from 10 AM - 2 PM.  Stop by the Camp Bow Wow table and register for our FREE raffle basket which includes two days of doggy daycare. Hope to see you there!   PETS Festival Information     Chain-Off Campaign, July 11-12, Piazza Bergamo, Greenville Come out an show your support for the Chain-Off event in Greenville on July 11 and 12 from 10AM-8PM on both days. This event is set up to raise awareness of the plight of dogs who spend there lives on a chain. The Theme is Dogs Deserve Better. Vendor booths and Rescue groups will be on location on Saturday including Camp  Bow Wow. Stop by the Camp Bow Wow table for a free gift and register for our free raffle. Many of the dogs who attend Camp Bow Wow have been saved from this type of life but there are many more to go. Hope to see you there! Chain-Off 2009 - Greenville, SC

Campers can enjoy access to one of our five indoor and outdoor play areas complete with play equipment and pup pools when weather permits! 

 

 

 

All of our overnight Campers enjoy a private cozy cabin complete with comfy beds, a soft fleece blanket and a Campfire treat at bedtime.  Click me for pictures behind-the-scenes at camp.

Rescues and Shelters

 

 

Foothills Golden Retriever Rescue specializes in finding homes for Golden Retrievers in the Upstate, western North Carolina, and eastern Georgia.  They emphasize mental and physical rehabilitation and placement in the best home possible for each dog.

 

 

Pet Tender Angels provides no-kill rescue and rehabilitation for homeless animals, focusing on feral, stray, abandoned, and special needs dogs. They're giving dogs in need a chance that no one else would.

 

 

 

Training

Pawsitive Effects Dog Training owner Julie Caswell provides obedience & life skills classes, plus individualized day training at Camp Bow Wow. Julie uses clicker training and positive reinforcement.

 

 

 TailLights Dogs owner Mira Jones provides dog behavior and puppy consults at Camp.  Mira uses scientific principles of animal behavior and positive reinforcement.
