About Camp Bow Wow Greenville

Happy Dogs
…that’s what we're here for! If you’ve been searching for a place where your dog can play with other dogs under the constant supervision of caring, trained professionals, you’ve found it. We took the elements that humans like about traditional dog kennels or kennel-based dog daycare (convenience and safety), then added a big dose of what dogs like (choices, freedom, and fun).
The Camp
Whether it's for doggy daycare or overnight dog boarding, tell your pups to get ready for fun!

- Climate controlled, inside play areas We have five separate play areas, so your dog can join a play group that shares his or her size and energy level AND stay comfortably warm or cool!
- Five outside
play areas Each inside play area has an attached outside play area, and your dog gets to choose where to play. As long as it's safe (not dangerously hot or cold), dogs can play outside as much as they like. Weather permitting, they can even play in our pup pools!
- 12 Camper cams Our web cameras give you a live action, high speed peek into every play yard, so you can check on your pup with only a few mouse clicks.
- Trained, caring camp counselors Just like you may remember from your camp days, our counselors have a genuine love for our campers. They are trained in canine behavior and health, and they're certified in Red Cross Pet CPR and First Aid.
Say goodbye to those worries about sleeping in some anonymous dog kennel.
- Play all day, snooze the night away - With all the activity during the day, your dog will look forward to kicking up those
paws for a good night’s rest.
- Private cabin Each camper bunks in a roomy private cabin. Oversized cabins accommodate campers with siblings staying, too.
- Comfy cot We provide each camper with a soft, cuddly fleece blanket and a raised Kuranda cot.
-
Campfire treat At the end of a long day of play, campers receive a treat to jump start those sweet doggy dreams.
- Comforts of home Did you pack a backpack? Great! Your dog’s favorite items from home will make for a more comfortable stay.
Keeping Camp Fun & Safe
Besides having fun, we do have a few requirements for our campers. Good camper candidates are . . .
- At least four months old
- Spayed or neutered, if over six months old
- Up to date on all vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella), and Heartworm preventative is strongly recommended
- Using some kind of flea and tick prevention
- Wearing a leash and quick release collar when they arrive
- Generally in good health
- Able to pass the doggy interview *
* The Interview Day allows us to meet our new campers one-on-one to make sure that Camp Bow Wow is enjoyable for them. Interviews are by appointment only Monday through Friday, 6:30 am-10:30 am. Your pup must spend at least 3 hours with us, but if all goes well, is welcome to stay the whole day. NOTE: An interview should be scheduled at least 24 hours before your dog comes to board overnight. That way, dogs don't feel deserted because they know that Camp Bow Wow time always ends with a trip home.
If you're interested in a tour, feel free to call and schedule one anytime during our normal business hours.
The Staff of Camp Bow Wow Greenville

These guys wear many hats to make sure Camp Bow Wow's campers are healthy and happy. They arrive early in the morning to feed the well-rested campers their breakfasts. They chaperone excited pups all day long, making sure no campers play too rough or get their feelings (or anything else) hurt. They give campers lunch, afternoon naps, and dinner in clean and spacious cabins, so everyone can be ready for more play time. They stay til late in the evening to give out Campfire treats and tuck tired pups into comfy beds. They also administer medicine, give special attention or extra naps to the dogs that need it, and accommodate the special requests some campers make. That's not even mentioning how they clean the building from top to bottom, update camper records, and make sure the Camper Cams, security system, phone system, and computer system are all up running.
Camp Bow Wow Greenville's Camp Counselors and management travelled very different paths to get here, but we all share one thing: a profound love and concern for dogs. That's why we're here. That's what we're offering to share with your family, 4-legged and 2-legged members alike. Schedule a tour, and we'll show you what we mean.
