March 7th is the next Adopt a Dog Day at the Stingrays, sponsored by Camp Bow Wow of Charleston. Come out and enjoy some great hockey and visit the CBW tent for coupons and treats. We have had such great success getting our foster dogs adopted we are already on the letter “U” as we go through the alphabet naming our foster dogs. On March 7th we will be bringing our latest foster dog Uda Man to the Adopt a Dog at the Stingrays.
On March 9th we are sponsoring “Pets In the Park” with the Charleston County Parks. The CBW tent will be at the Hampton Park Dog Park from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and at the Ackerman Park Dog Park from 4 PM to 6 PM. Come by and bring your dog for a fun day at the County Dog Parks. People treats and Dog treats will be available. Hope to see you there.
March 13th is our only Saturday Night Adopt a Dog at the Stingrays, sponsored by Camp Bow Wow of Charleston. It is also Christian Music Night with a concert after the game. We will be bringing our “T” foster dog Trouble Hunter (see article below).
March 14th is our final Adopt a Dog at the Stingrays for the 2009/2010 season. It’s been a great experience learning to walk the dogs on the ice an watching several times as our dogs made yellow ice. Our blind foster dog LL Cool Ray was a real hit on the ice and even better yet his new owner from the Stingrays game comes and tells us at every game how much she loves him. If you haven’t been to an Adopt a Dog game this is your last chance this year. Come by and see us at the CBW tent we’ve always got something to give away.
March 20 is the 9th annual Pet Helpers Oyster Roast and Silent Auction at the Charleston Visitor Center from 7 PM to 11PM. We have our tickets. It’s going to be a great time for a great cause. Hope to see you there.
