If you're looking for a canine companion for your camper, or if you know someone who needs a new pet to pamper, please consider a Camp Bow Wow foster dog. All of our foster dogs meet the same health and interview requirements of our regular campers - and they are eager to join your family!
Since we launched our foster program in December 2007, we have adopted out 15 dogs!
You may also wish to visit the Washington Area Humane Society, which is where many of our foster dogs come from.

Mario |
|
Mario is a pure German Shepherd approximately three to five years old. We have found Mario to be a sweet and very smart dog. After running him through the paces we have found that he knows how to sit, shake and lie down. Mario enjoys the company of the dogs that come to camp and makes the most of the eight hours of playtime he gets each day. He is housebroken. His ideal house would be one with other dogs rather than cats, rabbits, or other small pets.
To meet Mario or learn more about him, stop by Camp today!

Champ |
|
What can we say about Champ? Champ is a 2-1/2 year old German Shepherd/Lab Mix who exhibits equally the qualities of both breeds. On one hand, he is big, lovable and dopey, just as you would expect from a lab. On the other, Champ carries the great intelligence that you would expect from a German Shepherd.
Champ is housebroken and knows basic commands. He enjoys going for walks and is amazing to walk on a leash. Being spoiled as a puppy, Champ has never really learned how to share and would do best in a home without other dogs or small children. He loves being the center of attention. Champ can be bossy at times and needs someone who is willing to set and enforce rules and boundaries in the home setting. Because of his great intelligence, Champ would also do best with someone who is active and could provide plenty of exercise and activities to satisfy his German Shepherd nature.
If you are interested in meeting Champ, please stop into camp at any time to meet him or call us at 412-885-CAMP.
