Beau |
|
Beau is a fantastic young dog that is going to make someone a very happy person. He is a Great Dane/Lab mix with all the nice qualities and features of a Dane without the size. Beau is small at only about 55 pounds, but he has a huge heart and craves human contact. He is great with children and other dogs!
In addition to spending time at Camp, Beau has had a few overnight visits with one of our staff members. He is doing great with his housebreaking and has not had any accidents so far. Beau is highly food motivated, so training is a breeze as long as you have a few treats in your pocket! He knows how to sit and is working on walking on a loose leash. Beau rides beautifully in the car and will usually just lay down on the back seat when he doesn't have his head resting on your shoulder.
Beau is an all-around great dog, so make sure to ask to see him the next time you come to Camp. You'll end up falling in love!

Opal |
|
Opal is a wonderful girl. She is 3 years old, spayed and updated on her shots.
Opal is said to be very devoted to her people. Her caregivers find her to be hugely endearing and quite the charmer. Typical to Great Pyrenees females, Opal doesn't seem to care much for other females and can be at times dominate with some males.
Opal will need a fenced-in yard for safe play and exercise.
For more information, contact Lynn from the Great Pyrenees Rescue at 412-431-6732 or lapyr5@verizon.net.
