This handsome hound mix has found his way to ARF and is looking for a forever home. He arrived at the shelter as a stray so we do not know much about his history. However, we already can see that Tex is spirited and friendly to everyone he meets – that includes all people and most dogs too! He seems well adjusted and cared for, so we know he will make a great family pet. This boy is a true joy of a dog - energetic, funny, and spunky. He is busy learning proper leash manners and will be a pro in no time! Tex is very attentive and watchful but he still loves to curl up after a hard day of performing all of his hound duties...ball chasing, investigating, and keeping squirrels out of your yard. He dreams of finding a home where he can feel safe, secure and, most of all, loved. Could that be your home? Ike was born at end of January. His mom was a border collie X pomeranian mix, and dad was probably a german shepherd (or mix).

Ike is the largest pup out of his litter, shyest male of the litter, but also the most snuggliest pup- once he warms up to you! He is about 33 Pounds. Ike has come a long way since he entered foster care. He is still nervous around new people, but he is making HUGE strides in this area. Ike LOVES playing with other dogs! Ike is back at Buckeye Border Collie Rescue, so he is NOT AT CAMP.

Joon is about two years old. She was rescued from the pound and has lots of energy to burn! She would love to have a family of her own with a big fenced in yard for her to run around in. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, housebroken, and microchipped. She had knee surgery in February 2010 and is completely healed and ready to run! Camo is a cute little guy who just wants to be with people. He is fine with other dogs, cats, kids and adults. His foster home's granddaughter tucks him in blankets and hugs him and he just loves it! He falls right to sleep. He likes to play with toys, but isn't obsessive with it. Which you sit down he likes to sit in your lap and be with you. He is housebroken and crate trained. He goes into his crate when it is time for his foster mom to leave for work, but at night he would rather be in bed with her than in his crate. He is a sweet little boy!

Meet Freckles. She was picked up as a stray on 9/24/11 by the dog warden. She is very friendly and just loves to get her belly rubbed. She is such a sweet heart that when having her picture taken it was difficult to get pictures of her right side up because she kept rolling upside down to get more belly rubs. She loves to snuggle up to you, or is more than happy to play ball!

She gets along great with all people and other dogs. I would not recommend cats, she saw a cat and wanted to chase him. She is crate trained and housebroken.She is also Spayed and up to date on her shots.
