Camp Bow Wow Strongsville is excited to offer the following services:
Daycare - Bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow for a day at camp! Early drop off and late pick up allow you to focus on your daily routine while your dog plays with our Certified Camp Counselors and his favorite canine friends. We'll find the play group that best fits your dog's personality. You'll find the schedule that best suits your dog's needs - a few days a week, a few days a month, or just as needed. One thing is for sure, at the end of the day, each dog goes home tired and happy. That's good for him, and good for you, too!
Overnight Camp (Boarding) - Bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow for an overnight stay! Overnight campers stay busy with camp activities during the day and go to their cabins only at meal time and bedtime. Siblings can share an oversized cabin to make it more like home. Evening "campfire" treats and soothing music at bedtime are always included in your dog's stay. All-day play, private cabins and plenty of canine and human contact help your pup sleep soundly at Camp Bow Wow while you are away.
We encourage you to bring in your pups own food, bedding, toys and treats; whatever you feel will make your pup feel at home. Not only do we want your pup to be comfortable, we want you to have peace of mind leaving your pup in our care.
Want to get Started? Schedule an Interview?
The first step is to call us to schedule your FREE interview day. To do the interview, your dog must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 4 months or older
- Must be spayed or neutered if age is 6 months or older
- Must be current on all vaccinations
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Bordetella (We require booster every 6 months for safety)
- Must generally be in good health
Interview Day
We need to meet each new camper on an individual basis to make sure that Camp Bow Wow is right for them. The interview allows us to see how your dog interacts with other dogs, and how he or she deals with people when you are not present. The interview is a full FREE day of daycare to allow your dog to go through a typical day's routine. This gives us plenty of time to get to know your dog and learn his or her play styles. Feel free to bring a lunch or treats for your dog that day if you would like. Interviews are by appointment only so please call 440-572-3200 and schedule today!
Bring with you on the Interview Day:
- Vaccination Records for rabies, distemper and bordetella. We cannot interview a dog without this verification. (You can also have your vet fax us a copy at 440-572-3202)
- A quick-release collar (we have extra for the interview day)
- Camper Application for each dog being interviewed (we have applications if you would like to fill one out during the interview)
- Your dog!
About our Camp Counselors here at Camp Bow Wow Strongsville
These guys spend all day at Day Camp, from early in the morning to late in the evening, watching over our campers. They love what they do and provide quality care for your dog. Each counselor is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. They are the ones who give out the special "Campfire" tasty treats each night before lights out, and tuck each camper into their own spacious, comfy and clean Camp Bow Wow® cabin. Where each cabin has a comfy bed to curl up on in a climate controlled atmosphere (sorry, no mint on the pillow). Campers from the same household can even stay together in the same cabin.
They run the camp web cam monitoring and professional security systems that make sure all our Campers are happy and safe!
They are the ones who serve our Campers every day, and take care of those special requests for your Camper, from medicines, extra treats, or special care for older pups and other requests.
