We have 2 older Golden Retrievers that we take to half-day daycare. They are always excited to get in the door. They come home and konk out for a while. I think it's good that they can play with other dogs because they really don't like each other anymore. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they don't hesitate to help me get them in the car when I pick them up. Been going there for almost 11 years. Love them!

I Know They Are Treated Well and Safe
While my doggos aren't always excited to go to doggie daycare (no soft bed, treats on demand, or Mom's uninterrupted attention... unacceptable treatment in my doggo's royal opinion), I know they are treated well, safe, and interacting with other doggos, which I feel is always important for socialization. Being able to check in on them via the cameras is a plus. I can watch how they interact with the other dogs and their human minder, which makes me feel better about leaving them. Speaking of the humans, they are always professional, friendly, and excited to see the dogs.

My six-month-old puppy loves going here! He gets very excited getting out of the car and pulling his leash toward the door. He always finds a friend to play with who matches his puppy energy. He learns great socialization skills with other dogs. It is fun to watch him on the camper cam if I get a moment to sneak a peek. If he is being too high energy with another dog, I see the play monitors redirect him. He has a lot more confidence around other dogs since visiting Camp Bow Wow.

I Would Give Camp Bow Wow 20 Stars
My Golden Retriever LOVED his time at Camp Bow Wow yesterday!! I wanted to get him some exercise during these cold winter months, so I decided to try this place out for him. The first day is called the “Interview Day.” This is a day where they can assess how well your fur baby assimilates with the rest of the dogs. You can leave your dog there for the full day, and they don’t charge you for this day. Then, if your dog does well with the other dogs and you decide you’d like to continue bringing your dog, they give you a first customer package with three full days of day camp at a reduced price and 1 “à la carte” activity. Since my dog did well on his interview day, I decided to purchase the package. He went back for the first time yesterday, and wow! When I parked and got him out of the car, he went right to the door, wagging his tail! When we walked inside, he went with the employee without a problem, no looking back, and going straight to where he knew his doggy friends were! What I really like about this doggy day camp is that the dogs have access to both inside and outside areas at any time in the day. They also don’t put them in a crate for “rest time.” I’ve had my dog at another day camp before, and they would put the dogs in crates for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours for “rest time” starting at 12 or 12:30 in the afternoon! I’m sorry, but if dogs are tired, they will just lay down and rest on their own. They’re not like babies who fight off naps! I would give Camp Bow Wow 20 stars if that’s what they had for the review! My dog came home last night fully exercised and ready for bed by 8:00! We love Camp Bow Wow and will continue to bring Griffin there on a regular basis!!
