MEET OUR NEWEST FOSTERS  Jo-Jo    Jo-Jo was rescued from the pound by Close to Home Rescue. She was taken from a home after her owner had shot her in the leg. Her leg has since healed and it doesn't appear to have affected her. She has been crate trained and is fully vaccinated. She's a black lab mix and estimated to be about 6 months.    Bella Do you remember Bella the cane corso that was here last summer / fall? Update: Thanks to Close To Home, Bella has recently undergone treatment to correct her cherry eye and is in the process of healing. Bella's back; she was surrendered to us on 02/17/10. She was with a family with 2 girls ages 6 & 8 and Bella’s sister (from the same litter). Two cane corso, young children and a full time job was a little more than this family could take on. They asked us to take Bella in and find her a forever home. Bella is a 1+ years old, color blue. We have contacted "Close to Home Animal Rescue" who will be handling the adoption. He is about a year old and weighs around 23 lbs. He is a very sweet and playful terrier who is looking for his forever home. Dot Dot also came to us from Close to Home Rescue. She is a one year old Spaniel/Beagle mix. She is up to date on all of her shots and has recently been spayed. Dot is a very lovable dog who really enjoys playing. She also enjoys getting her belly scratched and has no problem rolling over to let you scratch it, as you can see.   Ryder - Adopted 2/28/10  Ryder came to us from "Close to Home Animal Rescue"   Sam - Adopted 2/21/10 Update: SAM aka Kane is enjoying his new family and being sopiled.
