The Camp Bow Wow Difference

Camp Bow Wow is different from the other day care and boarding facilities in the Capital Region.
- Are you tired of being nickel and dimed by your kennel? Camp Bow Wow believes in all inclusive pricing. We never charge extra for special feeding instructions, administering medication, or giving affection to your dog. We suggest keeping your dog on his usual food, but we will feed him our own nutritious food at no extra cost.
- Camp Bow Wow does not have chain link fence runs. Our cabins are all inside our fully heated and air conditioned camp.
- A bath is a bath is a bath. Yorkie or Great Dane - it's the same price. It really only takes a few extra minutes to bathe a larger dog. Why do some places charge double for this?
- When you board your dog, day care is not only included, it's mandatory. Our campers are only in their cabins for meals and sleep time. They spend their daytime in our large indoor and outdoor play yards with the other campers and our Certified Camp Counselors.
- All of our campers must pass a 3 hour interview to be admitted to camp. We take the safety of your dog and our staff very seriously. Not all dogs are best suited in a play environment. The interview is FREE and if your pooch passes, he/she is welcome to stay for the whole day at no charge to you. If we feel that Camp is not the best environment for your dog, we will refer you to a traditional kennel.
- We know that dogs come in different sizes and energy levels. Having one room for all dogs creates an unsafe environment. Our campers are divided into 3 groups so they can play with campers of similar temperament and size.
- When the day comes for you to pick up your dog, we just ask that you come before we close at 7PM. We don't impose an arbitrary noon deadline for pickup. Who gets home from a trip before noon? Why should you have to pay for a night that you aren't using?
- ...and don't forget the Camper Cams. All 6 of our play yards are viewable from any computer or mobile phone with Internet access. Login from home, work or your vacation in Paris. Know that your dog is getting the exercise, fun and attention that makes Camp Bow Wow the area's premier place to bring your best friend.
About the Staff of Camp Bow Wow

Our Certified Camp Counselors spend all day at Day Camp, from early in the morning to late in the evening, watching over our campers. They are the ones who give out the special "Campfire" tasty treats each night before lights out, and tuck each camper into their own spacious, comfy and clean Camp Bow Wow cabin. Each cabin has a comfy bed to curl up on in a climate controlled atmosphere. Campers from the same household can even stay together in the same cabin. They run the camp web cam monitoring and professional security systems that make sure all our Campers are happy and safe! They are the ones who serve our Campers every day, and take care of those special requests for your Camper, from medicines, extra treats, or special care for older pups and other requests.
