Foreclosed Upon Pets Inc
Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue of domesticated animals that have been abused and/or abandoned by their owners as a result of economic hardship, including home foreclosure, loss of employment, insufficient income, or death and illness. FUPI will take on a leadership role in developing strategies and creating coalitions with other animal rescue organizations in order to better serve the residential and commercial sectors of the community in the fight against animal cruelty.

Adopt a Rescue Pet
Since its non-profit approval in 2000,
Adopt A Rescue Pet has grown to be one of So. Nevada's largest animal rescue groups, providing a safe haven for dogs of abuse, neglect or homelessness. In most cases, these cases would have resulted in death if the animal would have entered a municipally funded shelter. Adopt A Rescue Pet houses the dogs in its programs in foster homes, local boarding facilities, and at its "under development" rescue ranch & retirement facility.

Las Vegas Weimaraner Club & Rescue Group
The Las Vegas Weimaraner Club & Rescue organization gets together once a month with their Weimaraner & Vizsla friends to have play dates. They play at local parks, events, Mt. Charleston, & parades. They help each other with advice and support. They are not a breeding club. All of the puppies that have come into their rescue were abandoned. They have saved over 120 dogs in the last 3 years that might have perished if it were not for their volunteer’s efforts.
