Before making reservations, all Dogs must first pass a complimentary interview day at Camp. Interviews are scheduled Monday through Friday. (Saturdays May-December) Please call to schedule your Camper's interview.
We require all Campers to be current on their Rabies & Distemper vaccines. We also require the Bordetella vaccine EVERY 6 MONTHS. We ask all Campers to wait at least ONE WEEK after being vaccinated to come to Camp.

We are looking forward to your furry friends joining us for some great camp games, campfire stories, and even some special campfire treats. Yummy!
Camp Bow Wow is Ocean County’s first and only Premiere Doggy Day Care and Overnight Boarding Facility. We believe in “Play all day and snooze the night away!” Camp Bow Wow Lacey has over 7,000 square feet of Camp (2000 square feet of climate controlled indoor play areas and 1500 square feet of doggy-proof outdoor play areas) as well as individual cozy cabins for our campers. Campers play in play areas with other campers having the same activity level. Our campers can choose to play indoors or out and are never out of view of a Camp Counselor! At Camp Bow Wow, day campers have their own cabins for meal times and nap times. When not eating or napping, they are playing! Our overnight campers play all day then get tucked into their own cozy cot in their own cabin with a special campfire treat at bedtime. Of course sibling campers can share a cabin, and blankies from home are welcome too! (We won’t tell the other campers!)

Camp Bow Wow Lacey is Mother/Daughter owned and operated. After working in two totally different worlds, Camp Bow Wow has brought us together! We are long time residents of Lacey and wanted to bring a needed service here, where we can be a part of the community we love. In addition to being "locals", we are active in various community organizations such as the Lacey Township Municipal Alliance, The Rotary Club of Forked River, and The Barnegat Chamber of Commerce.
We found CBW like almost all the other franchisees, online! We were both ready to say goodbye to our jobs, and were looking for something exciting and different. Once we found CBW, we flew to Denver to meet the Top Dog, and see existing locations. We knew right away we found what we were looking for. We found an opportunity to open our own business, be around doggies, and be a part of the local business community.
Of course my Beagle boys Mick, Bailey and Boomer, along with their Australian Kelpie brother Zeus, were the first campers signed up! They love to make new friends, and are eager to welcome your campers to Camp Bow Wow Lacey! Now they have a sister, another Australian Kelpie named Middy, who loves to run and play and calls everyone her best friend! Please call or e-mail with any comments or questions. IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION FOR ALL DOG OWNERS
LOCAL VETERINARIANS ARE SEEING AN INCREASE IN UPPER RESPIRTORY INFECTIONS IN DOGS IN OUR AREA. THEY ARE SEEING THIS IN DOGS THAT VISIT GROOMERS, DAYCARE/BOARDING FACILITIES AND MANY FROM THE LOCAL DOG PARK. IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THERE HAVE BEEN MANY DOGS THAT VISIT THE DOG PARK DEVELOPING UPPER RESPIRTORY INFECTIONS FROM COMING INTO CONTACT WITH INFECTED DOGS. WE AT CAMP HAVE MANY CAMPERS THAT FREQUENT THE DOG PARK AND FEEL OBLIGATED TO KEEP OUR CLIENTS INFORMED ON THIS ISSUE. ALTHOUGH WE REQUIRE THE BORDETELLA VACCINATION EVERY 6 MONTHS, THIS IS A DIFFERENT STRAIN NOT COVERED BY THE VACCINATION.
