Newest info on Ben - posted by Kala a Camp Bow Wow Counselor: I had the chance to have Ben at my house for a bit this weekend and he did awesome. He seems to be completely house trained. He had so much fun running and playing with Lenny. He's still a little clumsy when he runs (which only makes him that much cuter). He does really well on recall too. He has good table manners as well. We went for a walk and he is still learning to walk on a leash, but he does really well and does not pull at all! I will be working with him weekly on getting him used to common household noises and socialization. He picks up on things quickly and will be very easy to train. He can't wait until he can find his forever home!
	Ben is a mixed breed, (possibly Cattle dog & Shepherd), that Camp Bow Wow is now fostering. We are hoping to find his forever home. He is about 1 years old and almost the entire first year of his life he was a stray, found with his sister. He is very shy at first, but loves people. He is a velcro dog that attaches to his person very quickly. He tends to be on the submissive side, definetly with humans and usually with other dogs as well. He needs a home that is patient and gentle. Someone that will teach him the ropes of being a house dog. New scenarios can frighten him but with a strong leader he learns that being a pet isn't bad at all. Contact Camp Bow Wow if you're interested in adopting or meeting Ben.
