A note from his foster mom:
"Just wanted to say what a great time Calum and I had at the Walk for the Animals on Saturday! He did so awesome with everyone he met and was a fantastic walking partner!! He was so good with the crowd and all of the people all around him - he wasn’t at all fazed! His tail was wagging the whole time - I think he knew it was an important day for him because he had an extra twinkle in his eye!!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been able to get to know Calum and have found him to be one of the most gentle, sweet-natured dogs that I have had the pleasure to be around. He’s more at ease and is becoming more comfortable in whatever environment he is in.
Calum loves to play, and loves to get other dogs to chase him!  He has definitely become more relaxed as he gets used to his routine. He’s much less worried than he was and has become so gentle and loving. His butt wiggles more than ever now and he always looks like he is smiling at you.
I have grown so fond of this sweet boy, and am determined to find him the right home. He deserves so much, and has learned how to give back an immense amount of love. I know that whoever adopts this sweet boy will be forever a rescue-dog person! His sweet nature will melt hearts!"

FOSTER SUCCESS STORIES!!
Brett

Brett is a collie mix who is approximately 1 year old. Brett came to us from the APS of Durham to be fostered until he could find his forever home.
Last month he was lucky enough to get adopted by a CBW patron, Juergen Gubernath! Now Brett has a loving home with a new dad and a big sis, Rosie (pictured below)

         

Rusty
  
Rusty is a 1 1/2 year old boxer/cattle dog mix who recently got adopted into a loving home as well! His new dad says that Rusty is doing awesome and has come such a long way since being in his care!
Rusty was saved by a caring worker at the Warren County Animal shelter. He was scheduled to be euthanized within the next day of her meeting him. She couldn't bare to see such a loving creature's life end so abruptly, so she brought him to us at Camp Bow Wow to be fostered, and where he ultimately found his forever home! Good luck Rusty!
