Doggy Daycare and Overnight Camp with All Day Play!
Camp Bow Wow Burnsville opened in September, 2006. Our "campgrounds" are located just 1 block south of County Road 42 and 1 block west of Burnsville Parkway. We have 7000 square feet of camp with another 1800 square feet of outdoor space. With 3 large indoor and outdoor areas, campers play all day and go to their individual cabins at night. Check out our Featured Foster Dogs that stay at camp with us until they find a home. Like the other campers, they love playing all day too! Camp is a great place for them to learn to socialize with people and dogs and they become great family pets - they just need to find their family! If you are interested in adopting one into your family, just let us know and we'll set up a time for you to come to camp and meet them.

What is Camp Bow Wow??
Remember how FUN it was going to Camp? WE DO! Camp Bow Wow-Burnsville is the perfect place for your dog to get out of the house and have fun. So while you WORK or TRAVEL your dog can PLAY.
Is your pup stressed out or sad from being left at home all day? Has your doggie been bored enough to eat the couch or your favorite pair of shoes? Do you sometimes come home to find your pooch has left you a “present” on the carpet? Give your pup a new leash on life! Our Canine Campers play all day with other campers and return home happy and free of stress.

More About Our Camp
Campsite Amenities
Camp Bow Wow is a premier doggy day care and non-traditional boarding kennel, which means the pups are busy with camp activities during the day and go to their cabins only at meal time and bedtime.
The campsite is a combination of climate-controlled indoor and outdoor space for short hiking trips. Each Camper is assigned his or her private cabin (although siblings are allowed to stay in the same cabin) including a comfy bed and private dining. Overnight campers enjoy a campfire treat before being tucked into their comfy cabin with a cot and fleece blanket to snooze the night away. To make sure our Campers do not get homesick, we welcome you to bring a little piece of home with them, such as their favorite toy, pillow, or blanket.
Inside CBW you will find several play areas so that Campers with similar interests (constant play or simply a spectator), temperament, age, and size can play together. The outdoor campgrounds are separated as well and offer a variety of toys to play on. The Camp Showers are located on-site as well in case a Camper needs a bath or nails trimmed before returning home.
Registration
Our entrance requirements are designed to keep our Camp a safe and fun place for all Campers.
- Your pup must complete our brief interview process
- Must be 4 months of age or older
- Must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age
- Must be current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccinations (we’ll need verification from your vet)
- Must be in good health and flea/tick free
- Must be non-aggressive and not toy protective
Every new camper gets a FREE trial day of Day Camp-- just to make sure your pup will be a happy camper, and we can get to know him or her a little!
Camp Counselors
Each of our Camp Counselors has to be a dog lover who is trained in Dog behavior and Canine First Aid. We put our Camper’s safety and well-being first by ensuring that Counselors are always with the pups while at play. Your pup will receive lots of love, attention and pampering!
Camp History
Our involvement with Camp Bow Wow is similar to that of other Camp Bow Wow owners. We wanted to apply our corporate experience to our passion for dogs by buying or opening a dog related business. While doing research on the internet, we came across the Camp Bow Wow web site! A little research convinced us that we found the perfect combination of services, professionalism, and business philosophy that coincided with what we were looking for.
We look forward to providing a safe and happy environment for our campers along with superior customer service. We are also strongly committed to working with dog rescue organizations, to help bring loving families together with dogs looking for their “forever” home.
