Camper of the Month
Kookie was a shy girl when she first started coming to camp. She started off socializing in the small play area. In the period of just six months Kookie has warmed up and blossomed into a playin’ machine! You can often find her in the large play area, romping around with the other rambunctious dogs. Kookie has come a long way and we’re all very proud of her; she’s a well-mannered girl who is both a lover and a rough houser!
Kookie’s parents Theo and Essence inform us that Kookie’s favorite activities include lying in the grass to get some sun and helping her dad maintain their family garden. (Sounds like Kookie is looking forward to spring as much as we are!) Kookie also spends a lot of her time being quite curious. “She is a little investigator,” Essence says, “if she sees movement, she needs to go over and know who, what, when, where, and why!”
Kookie is also a natural born entertainer. She enjoys showing off to her parents how she can throw her treats in the air and then catch them in her mouth. (“Well, she TRIES to catch them at times!”) “She is a carefree spirit and loves life.” Essence says, “She’s the sunshine to anyone’s day. She is great company and is always making us laugh!”
Kookie is great company here at camp, too! We're so happy to have her as a part of our camp family. Congratulations, Kookie! Wag on!
Nominate YOUR Dog!
Our featured Camper of the Month is a dog just like yours. We spotlight everyday pups who are amazing in their own special way. We want to know how YOUR dog makes life way better than normal. Did your dog see you through a rough time? Does your dog watch over your kids? What does he do to make you laugh? How does he make your day?
Be specific and give examples of how cool your dog is. Please submit nominations along with a couple photos of your dog to troy.scout@campbowwowusa.com. Winners are announced on the first of each month on this page and in our e-newsletter. If your dog is not chosen right away, don't worry! We save nominations so, chances are your dog will be featured in a future month.
