Our team at Camp Bow Wow St. Clair Shores is comprised of Camp Counselors who are trained and certified in pet first aid and pet CPR. You can count on us to provide your pup with all the love and care they need. Our facility offers large climate-controlled play yards so that your pup can run, romp, and play all day long. And when it’s time to lay their head down, we offer cozy Cabins, comfy fleece beds, and evening Campfire Treats for our overnight guests.

I am so thankful for Camp Bow Wow! My pup has been there since he was very young. There are many days throughout the year that I know he will not get enough exercise, so I will bring him to camp. The facility is awesome and keeps him engaged. I feel safe leaving him overnight or for multiple nights, both of which I have done. From the moment he arrives, I can feel the love from the staff for him. I can watch him play on the cameras throughout the day, which is very reassuring. Pickup is always smooth and easy. He wants to be there and gets really excited when we get there. Highly recommended facility for all the paw parents out there.

My fiancé and I love Camp Bow Wow and the staff at SCS! They greet us with excitement to see Anaya at morning drop-off. It’s amazing and heartwarming to see how much the staff love each fur baby that walks through their doors.
We went on a week-long trip and were nervous to board her, but the staff put us at ease before booking her stay, during with the pictures and updates, and after. Before her stay, some of the staff would say that they were so excited for Anaya to stay with them. The staff also commented about how much fun she had during her stay. One of the girls told me she claimed doing Anaya’s snuggle time every evening she worked during that week. 🥰
We didn’t realize Anaya loved camp so much until we gave her a couple weeks’ break from going after our week-long trip, until one day, she went over to her leash and nudged it to tell us she wanted to go to camp. 🥹

My pups love going to boarding here. I get to watch them on the camera when I want to check on them. They get a ton of play time during their boarding days. We always select a bath at the end of boarding, and they do a great job with that as well.

Today was my dog's introduction interview and it was AMAZING. He is a very high-energy dog and got to run around all day… He came home very tired! The staff was very friendly. We will most likely keep going here several days a week and maybe even board when we go out of town! My one hiccup is that since it was his first day, I would have liked to talk to the person who was with him today to see how he interacted with the other dogs.

Kabaka Loves Coming to Camp Bow Wow
Kabaka loves coming to Camp Bow Wow. When we arrive, he is not clinging to us; he just takes off running to the staff, which surprises us, because Kabaka does not like strangers. I guess the staff are no longer strangers to him. They send us pictures, and that makes us happy and comfortable knowing that our fur baby is being loved on and treated right.

Camp Bow Wow is amazing! Very kind, thoughtful, and attentive staff. My dog Reggie practically leaps out of the car as soon as we pull into the driveway. It’s a great place for him to socialize and burn off some energy during the day. He’s also stayed for boarding during vacations and gets great attention while there. I love that the dogs sleep in individual kennels and play with dogs their own size. Helps me feel at ease when my little guy visits. ❤️🐾

Excited to come play with his friends
We’ve been going to Camp Bow Wow for a few years now. He just comes when we go away for a weekend and has even been there for a week on a couple of occasions. He is always excited to come play with his friends. I like the app and the camera views so the kids can see he’s having a good time. The staff remembers his name—even when it’s been months since his last visit. And I admit, I loved recently seeing one of the staff petting him and giving him some attention on the doggy cam. It makes me happy to know he’s well taken care of while we’re gone.

Everyone I met was super nice and very doggie knowledgeable. I was worried because my pup was so small and under-socialized, but the attendant was very sweet and kept checking on him while he just sat on the step and would pet and kiss him. I was touched.
