Welcome to Camp Bow Wow Portland, ME.........

A place where your dog can be a dog!!!
Camp Bow Wow, Portland's Premier Doggy Day & Overnight Camp, opened in July of 2008. We offer daycare as well as non-traditional boarding services, where the dogs are busy with camp activities and play during the day and are only in their cabins during mealtime and bedtime. While you are away, as long as you have access to the internet, you can watch your pup on our camper cams to see how much fun they are having. It'll make you feel better about leaving them!!
Campsite Amenities
The campsites are a combination of climate-controlled indoor and outdoor space where your pup can play all day long. Each Overnight Camper is assigned his or her private Cabin (although siblings are allowed to stay in the same, larger cabins) including a comfy bed and private dining. To make sure our Campers do not get homesick, we welcome you to bring a little piece of home with them, such as their favorite toy, pillow or blanket.
Inside Camp Bow Wow, you will find several play areas so that Campers with similar interests, temperment, age and size can play together. The outdoor campgrounds are separated as well and offer a variety of sturdy toys to play on. Camp will also feature plenty of shade and some small pools to splash around in on those extra sunny days during the summertime!
We will also feature two luxury suites for those pups that are looking for that extra special camp experience.
We also offer a "Bark 'N' Park" airport shuttle service for our campers and their guardians. Drop off your pooch and vehicle at camp and take our shuttle to the airport. When you return from your trip, we'll pick you up from the airport and bring you back to camp where your vehicle and your beloved furry friend(s) await you. We only offer this service during our regular camp hours, however, so please plan accordingly. This convenient service is only $9 per day! For stays of 3 days or more, one day of "Bark 'N' Park" is FREE!
Whether your camper is young or old, large or small, we'll make sure that your dog's camp experience is happy and safe. We invite you to drop in anytime to have a look at our beautiful camp. We think that you'll agree that Camp Bow Wow is Greater Portland's Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp!

Giving Back
Camp Bow Wow fosters dogs for Almost Home Rescue, The Animal Refuge League, Tall Tails Beagle Rescue, and Lucky Pup Rescue. We have assisted in finding homes for about 50 wonderful homeless doggies since we opened. Camp Bow Wow takes great pride in providing a loving and fun temporary home for these pups until their forever home is found. Our Camp Counselors give them extra love and attention and will sometimes even take them out for special adventures outside of camp. If you know of an organization that is in need of a foster home, please give us a call. If we are able, we would love to help.
