Solo
Nearly 5 months of waiting have finally paid off for our foster dog Solo, and boy was this family worth the wait! One of our regular boarders, Eva, and her family recently heard about Solo and fell in love with him in an instant. A military family with two young dog-lovers, a sweet older sister, and a big yard couldn't be a better fit for this energetic lover. Our prayers for Solo have been more than answered! |
Brody
Don't let their serious faces fool you---these two goofballs are a match made in heaven. You can't ever accuse the camp counselors at CBW New Orleans of not being major dog lovers, because ANOTHER one has adopted one of our doggies in need! This time it's Joe and an energetic pup named Brody whose previous family just couldn't house him any longer. We're so glad that Brody will grow up in a fantastic home... and that we'll still get to see him every day! |
Grimm
It's been a busy month for Grimm. He's got a new name-- "Prince!"-- new parents, and a new home. His new family is the perfect place for Prince to develop into the handsome, well-behaved adult dog he was meant to be. While here in New Orleans with Mom working, Prince has rule of the cottage and the cats. And when it's time to head home to Texas, Dad has a huge ranch, a big brother shephard and other animals too. What a perfect life for a perfect dog! |
Turtle
Our beloved foster dog Turtle has finally found his forever home with a loving family that he met during Barkus! His new family includes two young girls, a canine brother and even a few cats. We wish Turtle—now going by “Porter”—and his family all the best! We may see Turtle less now, but we aren't worried a lick about him! |
Arnie
Good news all around for Arnie! Thanks to you, our wonderful clients, we raised a total of $150 to bring Arnie to the vet and have his hurt leg checked out. Luckily for everyone, Arnie ‘s leg has healed just fine and he won’t need surgery! He has also found his forever home with Laura, one of our employees, who just couldn’t say no to those sweet eyes. Good luck, Arnie! |
Frosty
Frosty couldn't be happier at his new forever home! He's got two new sisters, Chi-weenies named Nestle and Reese, and loving parents who enjoy basking in Frosty's company and petting that soft fluffy coat. This well-mannered sweetheart of a dog has had his life turned around thanks to his new mama, whom he also adores---our very own Lindsay! Have fun, Frosty! |
Fabio
Fabio was adopted by our very own Ian late last year. Always a lover of Shar-peis, Ian juse couldn't refuse the dog who became immediately attached to him. Ian makes an incredibly loving daddy and good-natured Fabio joins him at work every day. We are so glad these two lovebirds found each other-- and that we still get to see Fabio whenever we want! |
Sugar
Sugar came to us as a nervous pup from a family who was unable to still give her the home she deserved. She and our employee Elise bonded quickly. One night Elise decided to bring Sugar home for an overnight visit, and the next dayshe noticed a dramatic improvement in Sugar's behavior and knew it was meant to be. Since then, this skiddish puppy has turned into one of the queens of the play yard! Congrats on your new home, Suga! |
