St. Tammany Humane Society
The St. Tammany Humane Society has been serving St. Tammany parish as the only non-profit, non-governmental animal sheltering and welfare organization for more than 55 years. Their doors opened to the community’s neglected, abandoned and abused pets in 1953 by Holly Frederick Reynolds in memory of her cocker spaniel, Yankee Doodle Dandy, because she truly wanted to make a difference in the lives of orphaned companions. Today, the mission is the same, but the organization has several new programs and services in place to do just this-to give animals a new leash on life.
In our sincere effort to find loving homes for the many adoptable dogs at their facility, Camp Bow Wow Covington is proud to partner with the St. Tammany Humane Society to offer any persons who find it in their hearts to adopt Three FREE Days of Doggy Daycare! Canine camper must meet all Camp Bow Wow requirements to be eligible for service. Inquire for further details.

What Our Customers Are Saying About Us...

Katie |
"Katie always gets the best care and seems very happy to be there. Everyone is so friendly and answers all of our questions, if we have any. She got her first bath there and came home cleaner than she has ever been, even when we bathe her. We are completely happy with all of our experiences there and always recommend Camp Bow Wow to all of our friends." Robert H. |

Bane |
"I like the set up of the facility (play areas, obstacle areas, sleeping areas). I loved the first day at camp certificate. The thing I loved the most was when my dog came home, he went fast to sleep. This shows me that he was actually playing and not in a kennel the whole time. Although the price is more then other boarding facilities, it is worth it!" Susie K. |

Seth |
"I liked everyone and everything about the team members at Camp Bow Wow, and the facility itself is so very clean. I truly felt as though everyone I met really cared about my dog and since my dog Seth is blind, I was at peace with leaving him for several days. I knew his special needs and the extra attention he demands from people would be met. The facility is well kept, which again gave me the reassurance that I made the right choice in leaving Seth at Camp Bow Wow. I will most certainly use this facility again and will highly recommend to other dog owners. Thank you to everyone that was so very kind to me and a huge Thank You to everyone that cared for Seth." Bosco |
"When you first walk through the doors you yourself feel welcome, which helps you to know your 'little buddy' will feel good also! That makes you feel good when you walk out the door knowing he'll be taken good care of. Like the same feeling you get when you leave your child for the first time. I'm very comfortable leaving Bosco there and I know he enjoys it the same. All the employees at Camp Bow Wow are very professional and caring about you and your dog." Pat A. |

Boston |
"I love the fact that Boston can run around and play with all of the other dogs. The first day I picked him up I was so surprised he didn't want to leave! It makes me feel better that I can check on him while I'm at work on the doggie camera and know that he is playing hard and being well taken care of." Catherine S. |
