Lauren, Camp Bow Wow Carmel's operations manager, inherited her love of dogs from her father. She holds a degree in psychological science from Ball State University, where she also minored in French and Fashion. When she is not at Camp, she enjoys shopping and spending time with her dog, Bella, a Tibetan Mastiff. Lauren holds a certification as a Camper Care Specialist, an extended education program offered by Camp Bow Wow Corporate, which allows her to screen dogs for camp based upon potential campers' social skills, behavior, and energy level. She is certified as a Level I Pet Care Technician, currently completing her Level II Advanced Pet Care Technician certification, and plans to become certified as a Level III Pet Facility Operator |
Assistant Camp Ranger: Cole Koerselman

Cole, Camp Bow Wow Carmel's assistant operations manager, is a life-long dog lover. He has owned many breeds over the course of his life, including Yorkshire Terriers, Weimaraners, a maltese, a golden retriever, miniature labradors, and a pitbull mix. He currently has five dogs: Dominic, Jaun, and Dexter, yorkshire terriers, Sugar, a maltese; and Stella, a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix, along with a ferret named Pauly. He was involved in promoting the FIDO program while attending Ball State University, which pairs unadoptable dogs with inmates who train them. Cole is a "Paw Level 4" Certified Camp Counselor and is currently working on his Camper Care Specialist certficiation. |
