Camp Bow Wow Counselor of the month - June
Kristie Webster has been at Camp since the day we opened. Kristie has devoted much of her time and energy to dog rescue, she has fostered numerous dogs, transported, volunteered at the Cedar Rapids Animal Shelter and assisted with microchipping clinics. Kristie is a dog lover through and through. When asked what she likes most about working at Camp she shares, "I love working at Camp because I love to spend time with dogs. I especially love to spend time with the boarders to make them feel more like they are at home. I never imagined that I would love dogs so much. I love everything about them: their ability to forgive and forget what has happened to them in the past, the way they are always happy to see me....even if I was only gone 10 minutes, the way they make me smile no matter what kind of a day I have had, the silly things they do to make me laugh when I need it most." Yep, Kristie loves the dogs and they love her too, we are so happy to have her as part of the Camp Bow Wow team. Thanks Kristie!

Camp Bow Wow Cedar Rapids is locally owned and operated by wife and husband Camp Rangers Nicole Pizzini and Shawn Mercer, along with Junior Rangers Allison & Kyla, and Camp Activity Co-Directors Oliver and Jacob.
